NeoGeo CDZ Emulator v0.4 Beta Released |
Ó

The NeoGeo CDZ Emulator for PSP has been updated! Included in this latest version (0.4) are a bunch of new features, plus there's a few upcoming features which have been hinted at earlier. I'm sure they'll be attended to in one of the next releases.
Changelog for v0.4:
- Font data size reduced
- Japanese language font created
- Font for the command list created
- Fixed the anti-alias processing for fonts
A 1.5 version is included, along with the non-KXploited version for 2.0 and above PSPs. The command.dat has been bundled separately.

first post?
You're an idiot?
guys wads the command.dat file for?
I'm sure your mom will be very proud of you...
sarcastic
Multiplayer currently doesn't work since the author doesn't have a second PSP to test it.
Aka Donate XD
other than the obvious japanese font for our jap friends, whats new really?? is it faster or more compatible because i love the current v0.3, never had problems with the fonts.
it would be nice to make the mp3 playing more stable, i thought the occasional mp3 syncronisation fault was just when you put your own mp3's in the game files but it randomly does it on games with the original mp3's too
Im with hi hi. WHats the command .dat for? and where does it go?
they don't get it, we need a GBA emulator
USE SUPER NES ITS BETTER! GBA SUCKS A$$. GAMEBOY Advanced IS A BABYS TOY!
dang, just when have to go by a new psp, negeo starts getting updates again, I NEED KOF99!!!
is this better than NeoCD PSP?... that Emu works with full sound and framerates?
not yet anyway
This is the first time I have tried this emulator and I am so impressed. The difference between this and the other emu's such as the SNES is staggering.
Playing King of Fighters 99 the speed is almost too fast for me!
Not sure what that command.dat file is but I just put it the same folder as the eboot and it works for me.
I noticed that it defaults its CPU speed at 222, so first thing to do is put it up to 333 in the emulator settings - gives a massive gain in FPS
Tested on FW 2.6 with eLoader 0.97
Thanks yoyofr

Yes this emu plays the games i have at full speed and with this update it might be faster than neo cd which was barely faster than this emu.
you know, each has its own advantages and disadvantages.
This one is smoother, and has etter rendering I think.
the other one might still be a little faster, but not as smooth, or clean looking. AND you can put your MP3s in the MUSIC folder (my idea by the way)
I DO like this emu better tho.
You never told me. i could have worn i thought of that
(check) v3.1 pms
in case you couldn't tell i was being sarcastic
This one has save states (maybe NeoCD does too and I just dont know how to use it?) This one runs just as fast, has a better menu and stuff...
I GAVE A TUTORIAL IN NEO GEO CDZ 3.1 COMMENTS IF YOU NEED HELP ON HOW TO USE NEO GEO CDZ
i was wondering if there is a link where i can find a guide on how to install the emulator i would really appreciate that alot thanks!
this isnt made by yoyofr
I put command.dat file the same folder as the eboot, but how do it work? How can I find the command list from the menu?
i try to get the game 'top hunter' working on it but it keeps saying error: cannot find neo geo cd. bin file. can sum1 please help me?
You need the neo geo cd. bin file to run the game .>>>a tip>>neo geo cd. bin file
[URL]http://membres.lycos.fr/makau/utils.htm[URL]=neo goe bios pack.
Does anybody knows a tittle of a good RPG on neo geo cd,if there is is 1 or more let me know PLZ.thx.
YEah. Metal slug runs better on this than it does on my pc!
But how do I get the ingame music? I have the files like: Metal Slug - Track 2.mp3 and alike, but how do I get them to play ingame?
I just got what I thought was the authors name from the incuded readme file:
"Have fun!
------------------>
http://yoyofr.fr.st
----->
yoyofr"
I guess he ripped the readme file eh?
I should have known really as its way more accomplished than yoyo's SNES emu
Who is it made by then?
'(^_^)'
does this work on 2.60 and if so how plz thanks 2 who helps me
i used to use this site all the time but now when i click download it just like refreshes and no dialog box pops up????????????

- Create a folder on your PSP memory stick in GAME, I called it NEOGEOCD
- Unzip ncdzpsp_0.4_beta.zip onto your pc and copy the files from the 1.0 folder into PSP/GAME/NEOGEOCD/ on your PSP
- Download command.dat and put it in the same folder on your PSP
- Download the Neogeo CD bios (check the link in post #26), unzip it and copy NEOCD.bin (512kb file) into the same folder on your PSP
Thats it installed and should work fine through eloader.
For the games you need to place them in seperate folders on your PSP e.g. PSP/GAME/NEOGEOCD/yourbackedupgam e/
Unzip/unrar your games and you should have such files as yourbackedupgam e - Track 01.iso and yourbackedupgam e - Track 02.mp3 to yourbackedupgam e - Track 43.mp3 etc
You need to extract the files from yourbackedupgam e - Track 01.iso using Isobuster or Winrar to
e.g PSP/GAME/NEOGEOCD/yourbackedupgam e/game.fix, game.prg etc
You then need to create a folder called neocd.mp3 e.g
PSP/GAME/NEOGEOCD/yourbackedupgam e/neocd.mp3/
Here you place the mp3's e.g yourbackedupgam e - Track 02.mp3 to yourbackedupgam e - Track 43.mp3 etc
Sounds like a bit of hassle but its worth it.

The download link is working for me, dunno wassup for you, I am on Firefox with Javascript turned on
Games I have tested:
King of Fighters 99 - Working 100%
Neo Drift Out - Working 100%
Super Sidekicks - Working 100%
Super Sidekicks 2 - Working but GFX problems (no markings on pitch) - not really playable IMO
Super Sidekicks 3 - Working but GFX problems (no pitch!) - not really playable IMO

Well, I tried what you said about the neocd.mp3 folder before but the music for metal slug and metal slug 2 still don't work, Haven't tried for KoF99.
