Atomos of our forums has released Homer's final version of GeMP, Gameboy emulator Media Player, for the PSP. The thread on the forum has loads of details about the update and how he came to release it. Atomos released this version so that other people can continue to work on the text viewer and media player. Atomos lists a whole bunch of updates on the thread and gives some ideas as to what should be fixed. The program is incomplete and will remain that way unless someone picks it up. Homer left the project to work on his own RPG and has no plans to returning to GeMP any time soon.
The homebrew community will certainly miss Homer and his GeMP updates but we wish him the best of luck on his RPG and, of course, welcome anyone to continue working on the project.

what about GBA though it's tkain a minute for someone to run a decent emu of perhaps the best handheld ever....the problem is the ones we have(PSPGBA and others) aren't built from the ground up they are ported over from the PC counterparts....good job though
This release will freeze and shut your psp off if you push square or try to delete a folder on firmware 1.5. You must edit the main.cfg to run it with any different program folder name (fixed corrupt icons, etc). If you change the folder name and fixed the main.cfg, you will still have to go into the menu by pushing L + R to even see what you have selected in the file browser. Good luck with this LAST release. PS. Homer is a guy. Like it was said in the forums.

i accidentally change a file name and i forget the original name...can anyone help me and tell me how to change the name back to its original? i really forget the orginal one...
ok not complaining because this emulator kicks @ss but is anyone have the same problem with going into the menu after starting up the rom and have the sound not work?? I mean the only way I've been able to get it to work so to reboot the entire emu. just wondering
i just really want to know if i am doing it right. .psp game gameboy---->gemp ---->source (unzipped) still crashes god! but i got it to work one time but i had to reinsull it becouse it would not run a rom. how ever it had word recently on this program. so.... i really need some info lol.
Just like #43, I am having major sound issues with this emulator. Ever since early versions, the sound DOES NOT work after you load another game. This kinda sucks. Will this ever be fixed?
