fMSX-PSP v3.3.1 - Image 1

Looking for the latest in retro PSP gaming? Look no further, because uberjack is on the case!

uberjack has released a new version of fMSX-PSP, his Microsoft MSX computer architecture emulator. The emulator now sports a variety of bug fixes, as well as improvements to the virtual keyboard. Here's the quick list of additions to fMSX-PSP v3.3.1:
  • Virtual keyboard improvements. The virtual keyboard now requires an external file - 'msx.lyt' in the emulator directory—the file contains keyboard layout information
  • fMSX updated to version 3.3
  • Lots of minor bug fixes
uberjack notes that save games from earlier versions of the emulator won't work with this version, so you might have to start from scratch. Still, you are getting fewer bugs in this release, so it's all good. Just make sure you check the readme for more information on how to properly run the emulator, alright?

Like the article says, it emulates the MSX computer architecture. Meaning, it plays MSX disk images.

Metal Gear came out for the MSX before it was on the NES.

All it takes is a simple search: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MSX
