SMSplusHere are two new releases from PSP coder fredjmh123, the EmuSMS v1.0 and EmuGG v1.0. These two programs for the PSP are the ported SMSplus of Charles Mac Donald split into two for the Game Gear and the SMS.

Scaling is disabled by default, but one can change the scaling factor, disable vsync and change the frame skip by editing the options.cfg file.

Scaling=1 scales normally
Scaling=2 will create scanlines

Check out these two emulators yourself.

Finally some SMS emulation news! Remember that we have 2 SMS/GG emulators in a very primitive state that haven't been updated for ages and whose sound is horrible. I hope this one does not end up like those.

Now, I wouldn't mind giving this guy -and others- some money for their work, as a small incentive to improve their emulators. Hey, it's better than nothing. Is there any way to make a donation to this guy?

Thanks.

Sound is actually quite good. Not perfect, but at least it doesn't fry your ears. Speed changes depending on the game, but for a first release everything is surprisingly good. Can't wait to see it more polished.

So these SEEM to work on 2.01, at least they load, but I can't seem to access any ROM files, regardless of where I put them. Is there some particular place I'm meant to put them, or something they're supposed to be named? Because I'm itching to play Wonderboy 3 :P
