DosBox PSP version 03/08/08 |
Ó
In an effort to lessen its bugs, the developer cleaned up the emulator's binary code in the new build to help fix the kernel issue previously noted by Murdock on the ps2dev forums.
Here is a direct quote taken from the developer's release thread explaining the new changes made in the latest version of DosBox PSP:
I put up a new binary with probably fixes it. Dosbox was checking for 0 as open(3) failure rather then the correct -1. Also, I added modifier support to imagemap. Put a,s or c after the key to and alt, shift or ctrl to the keypress; as for alt and shift, sca for shift, ctrl and alt etc... (actually this is untested, tell me if it doesn't work).
We've compiled all the necessary files needed to run the emulator into one file bundle, which you can download through the link below. If you have any questions regarding DosBox, you can visit the developer's project release thread and leave your feedback there.

i tried running blood on dosbox, i wonder if this one will fix the illegal error i kept getting while it was loading
It's been a while since I looked into this. How's the speed? Would a text-adventure work fine? What about King's Quest 1 or X-Com? (merely as an example, any results from similar-in-resource -gobbling would be fine).
