Daedalus "Spiff Up", a.k.a. Daedalus Wally, has got a new release for you all to enjoy! Making graphical changes on the popular N64 emulator Daedalus, Wally the developer is leaving the N64 emulator's optimizations to StrmnNrmn.
Some of the improvements that can be found are in Micro Machines, with now visible characters, and a slightly better map. For Super Smash Bros, the characters may look weird not having facial detail, but hey, at least now they're all in one piece. Besides, Wally the developer promised that it will be fixed in the future. Also enjoyable in the new release is the "fun to watch" intro and visible Nintendo logo.
The developer also notes that to get this game playable, you have to turn DYNAREC off. According to him, this doesn't seem to be getting ingame without support of PSPLink, but he swears it goes ingame. The screenshot above is testament to his claim.
Here's a list of the other changes from Wally:
- World is not enough: Not many fixes here except the carpet is red where you start and walls have less black dots, this needs more experience
- Diddy Kong Racing: Some Text at start
- I'm trying to figure out why it stays blue,
- I think it has something to do with the way the blending is done
- These fixes may fix some other problems in some other games, however its not guaranteed.
By the way, a little caveat from Wally: Please do not ask how to add graphics. He says that it would make it hard for himself and StrmmNrmm "when it comes to 100000 separated Daedalus builds. Also explaining every fine detail to you is impossible". Besides, he is not a professional encoder, so there. The fixes are also not related to speed, speedups, or compatibility.

Guys, this is all Strmnnrmn's emulator. All I did was add some missing mux files that strmnnrmn's emulator creates and put them in the eboot. It is very simple what I did and even a 5 yr old kid can do the same. I'm not a coder or a developer so please get your facts straight pspupdates. Stop saying i am some kind of developer or coder when all i did is add strmnnrmn's missing mux files to the eboot that anyone can do. Please everyone, this is ALL StrmnNrmn's work and I did nothing at all. If anyone else wants to try it, just add the missing mux files to the eboot and it will do the same thing. Now please take this off the front page pspupdates, thank you.

I agree with my good friend Ken Kutaragi you have to updgrade. And I would also like to announce that Sony and Nintendo will be mergin together in the next five years and we will release a console with graphics better than the Playstation 3 and it will be utilizing an advanced Wiimote. So that we can finally take down the biggest of foes Microsoft.
This emu failed a long time ago. psp n64 emulation sucks. #11 was right.go play on the computer.

How the ***** can PSP's N64 emulation be better than the PC's? you say your a dev? how do you not know that the PC>PSP. Even the n64 emulation on the pc is not perfect, how can the psp even come close.

@33: You really dont know the simularity of processors do you??? I suggest you do your research before you go saying this..
I wont go into the details as googling is essential..
Remember on a PC there are extra things to emulate hence making it not so perfect they are
a) Emulating a mips processor - PSP has no need to do this.
b) PC runs on X86 Processors (Intel and AMD) which are not MIPS processors (PPC and the likes)
So there you have it!
Also, i didnt mention i was a dev. That was added into the PSPupdates thingy.
