the emu is good but the only game that we can really play is still super mario 64. perfect dark doesnt werk and SSB is way 2 slow 2 play. i think the only games this emu will be good with are the smaller games.

more like a significant amount of frames per sec lost..... i pretty much had 30 on r10..... no limit on framerate... frameskip 1.... and i had 30 fps based on that only i think..... but now.. i had 10-15!!!! thats a lot... and for wat? my textures didnt look any better or worse... i dunno wat happened but mario 64 lost a lot of fps compared to r10

the sound i think has gotten better... either cause i havent used it in a while or something but it seems to run with the game well.... its just a lil glitchy.... but minor to me... i still think its very close to the real deal

M64 works way better than r10 on my psp.. Think it depends on which Rom you use, I use the Europe version. FPS intro (+2 frameskip no sound ): peak of 40 FPS outside castle: 36 (+2 frameskip no sound ): FPS inside castle: (+2 frameskip no sound ): 33 FPS: first level bombland: (+2 frameskip no sound ): 22 fps With sound 8 frames less I guess.. Mario kart 64 also works way better now.. I don't get your results

Mario 64 is working better...

First off, it has never gotten full speed with sound yet..but its getting there. Yes, it is much faster w/o sound and frameskip! I'm probably only getting 1fps faster with sound from R10, but its at least a little. Outside I'm getting 20-25fps with sound, once in the castle, in goes down to about 15-20 fps, but hits 30 in the area with the fountain...and in levels, hits around 14-19fps. All pretty consistent with R10...maybe a little faster... All of these speeds are with sound/1 frame skip.

Oh god man, upgrade to 2.71 and downgrade to 1.50, then upgrade to something else or stay to 1.50. I dont believe that in 2007 with 5 OE firmwares and tons of downgraders there are peoples that still uses 2.01 psps :(

wow, unless you are using the latest OE firmware by DarkAlex you are just being a tosser. No reason why you would want to do anything else, you get the homebrew capability and the ability to play all the new games without having to run HEN or eLoader or any of that garbage... and back to the topic - thanks for the release, hopefully the emulator will get better.

I use eLoader v0.9.9 on firmware 2.71 the previous versions worked on the eLoader but this one crashes on start up, giving the error Reserved Instruction. Anyone have any ideas on solving the problem without downgrading?

Ok so I downloaded the newest eloader on my 2.00 psp. Daedalus wouldn't even load on the TIFF so I tried the GTA one and I got Daedalus to load but when I tried to play Goldeneye it froze.

yes it has been 11 releases...but he's not using media engine (ME)...he's not using n64 BIOS...and he's not using the full potential of the psp kernel(allowing usermode so not all bad)...so yes until he actually starts using the psp's capabilities it will never be full speed...and about the GUI I think the GUI should come last...i mean time spend on gui is time that could be spent on speed or compatibility...(make it pretty later)...but as long as these updates continue monthly it should be full speed by R20 which will be in 9 months...3/4 of a year!...still that would be fine... http://www.myspace.com/DaedalusCompatibility

Nice work Strmn!!! It's slowly but surely getting better. Smash bros and 007 World is not Enough still have alot of graphical glitches for me, but there are small improvements. For one, I can actually see the character's skins in Smash Bros now lol... They dont look like white/rainbow block things anymore. Keep it up man!

So far I've been able to have moderate success with Majora's Mask but it crashes when I go to see the Great Fairy. As for Ocerina of Time, I can't get it to save, but that isn't any different from any of the previous releases. Maybe a little faster as well.

maybe I did something wrong, but the texture re-do thing screwed this up real bad. Mario 64 no longer shows coins or stars, and in Majora's Mask the actually game is messed up. yopu have ocarinas on all of your items, and you can play them. no health is displayed. you die and restart room after some cutscenes. also, the game freezes after you get magic power from the fairy. I know it has something to do with the no health thing. I tested Mario Kart and found when you get a star fire comes out the back like a mushroom. Strmn Nrmn, I think it may be from individual settings for each rom. check on that, it may become a serious probem in some games(the ocarina thing is pretty bad, and I'm sad about it freezing)

it will always show the % files as corrupted data. Just ignore it or if you have 3.10 oe you can have it not show from recovery menu.
