A response to the Daedalus misinformation issue |

First off, we'd like to apologize to StrmnNrmn for posting misinformation regarding the future of Daedalus.
As many of our readers have probably seen, we recently put up a post which mentioned the possibility of Daedalus R13 using BIOS files in the future. StrmnNrmn made a new post on his blog, however, debunking the news tip we were given. The said PSPUpdates post has been removed.
StrmnNrmn noted in his post that someone may have been deliberately trying to mislead us, and that seems true to some extent. The tip seemed legitimate, as the person posing as StrmnNrmn used some rather underhanded means to pass himself off as the authentic one. We made a mistake in simply taking his word, perhaps because we were too eager to learn what other features the dev was going to add to Daedalus.
It goes without saying that we'll be more careful in the future when it comes to our reports on the N64 emulator and StrmnNrmn. We're going to be posting facts as taken from StrmnNrmn's blog regarding all things Daedalus-related. We apologize for the ruckus this has caused, and we also appreciate the time StrmnNrmn has taken to post an entry correcting our mistake.

You guys need more credable sources and need to stop posting RUMORS! and actual NEWS FACTS If you follow the rule of posting news that is fact, you shouldn't have problem like these. Personally I find your reason for the mistake to be extremely laughable. How could you mistake the creator of the N64 emulator for someone else? Did he send you an email saying "Hey, I am StrmnNrmn... BEILEVE ME!" This is a joke...

I remember how easy it used to be to spoof emails by using insecure SMTP relays and direct commands to the Operating System and I am assuming it isn't too difficult to do in this day and age. It sounds like a person faked an email and QJ were blinded by their eagerness to want the N64 emulator to improve.

the .BIOS would make it run perfectley with sound look what happened to the GBA emulator

N64 and CD64 bios do exists but, you can't say that since GPSP work well using bios files separately, Daedalus will. That no-sense...
