Yoyofr has posted a notice on his website concerning about the save state function not working on 2.0 PSP.

The solution is to delete the logo.bmp, and replace it with the bmp from the previous version, or a 480*320 8bpp bmp file made by yourself. The issue should be fixed by this method. The solution was first discovered by thecradle on Snes9x TYL official forum.

Yoyofr also mentioned the emulator wonÂ’t work on 2.00+ PSPs. And on 2.00, the emulator runs slower than on 1.50 and lower.

Laxer3a, one of the creators of Snes9x TYL, has launched his website. You can view it [here].

Thanks to Benjamin for the heads-up!

Does anyone know which settings are best to prevent 'tearing' in side scrollers? For instance, in SM World, when you move quickly to the left and right, the screen tears a lot of the background because its drawing more than 60 FPS. Vysnc always cleared this up for running emu's on my PC's LCD screen. However, vsync doesn't work quite well with TYL yet, and the speed limit option doesn't keep it at a perfect 60. Any suggestions?

It's V-Sync. Turn it on and you are set.

Jeff: "Vysnc always cleared this up for running emu's on my PC's LCD screen. However, vsync doesn't work quite well with TYL yet..."
:-p
Also, "Yoyofr also mentioned the emulator won't work on 2.01+ PSPs."
Also... I've never noticed it running slower on 2.00 than on 1.50.

V-sync doesn't work well yet tho, that's the point! When there are 3 or more sprites on the screen , it'll turn into a slow mucky mess. Try playing DKC 1 with vync on, it's unplayable.

What we need is a more accurate speed limit that prevents tearing. Maybe if the limit could be set to 57FPS, we wouldn't see those tears when 61-62FPS occur (which happens all the time even though the 60FPS "limit" is on).

Yeah.. Saving did not work for me.. Untill I switched to save slot 1. Then it worked fine.. Oh, and if this is not AS fast as the 1.5 version, than DAMN that one must be fast!! Talk about Wolfensine3D running PERFECT with Full screen!
Mwahahaha!
