Void Team leaves PSP homebrew scene |

Ó
A couple of days ago, we reported that homebrew developer Void Team is planning to come out with custom firmware 3.71 VE. The most promising thing about this particular build is that it will come with a 1.50 kernel, aside from other nifty features such as support for unofficial themes and special recovery mode. However, in a surprising turn of events, Void Team posted an article over at their personal online blog saying that they are leaving the scene. Take note that these guys are Spanish and we can't give you their exact words.
But based from our limited Spanish understanding, they are leaving because the community doesn't appreciate CFW makers other than Dark AleX. A part of their heart-felt post reads (translated using an online language engine):
Because whenever somebody comes near to scene you throw a kick in the ass, in addition for people that we worked in the reverse engineer and we programmed is not nothing of the other world, which passes that people as we have much work.
And many projects and for that reason we were not interested in these things, and for once somebody is interested alaaaaa to call it of everything.
If you want to read the full article, you can refer to our Read link below. It should take you to Void Team's personal blog.

If you can do it, just do it. Don't say you're going to before you're ready.

appreciate CFW makers other than Dark AleX.
This is sooooo true...
Becus25 and others got treated my lepers
because of all the children or immature adults
that post only negatively about these Devs
attempts to give them more than just one
answer to hacking their PSP's yet gets hated
on for trying.
Iam and Justinrezario are just examples of
childish immature posters that have been
noted to have repeatedly bash such Dev's
for no reason what so ever.
These types of community members are the
worst and cause further damage to the scene
because they don't take the time to test an
app, they just bash the author.
Soon we might no longer have a HB community to
call our own because of such idiotic behavior.
QJ has proven not to care, otherwise they would
have already banned these disruptive members.
It's all a matter of respectability at the end of the
day. Treat others as you'd expect to be treated.
First posting and out right flaming is ridiculous.
Test the App and make a statement. If you don't want to test the app, then don't post about it.
Be responsible people for your own actions and
always remember to respect not only your fellow
members but the Dev's as well, without them
there would be no HB community.

People don't shout fake if you can prove it isn't.
They announce a new CF and then days later say they aren't gonna play anymore. Now that either means they had no CF to show or it's a move to drum up more interest. Classic psychology.
Just ignore it, if they have this fabled CF then it will be released anyway. After a few days they will realise they aren't that good at anything else and skateboarding won't earn them money or make them famous, they'll soon be back. Same with all the developers that quit.

Now the question is would you do a favour to them?

OK, i really don't agree if you go to a fie start hotel, what will you first expect, a nice welcome and so on.
Here, they entered the homebrew scene, how were they greeted? well i don't think the greeting was nice, and thats why they left. I don't think they deserve a dev like Dark_AleX or Void or AoP, or any developer if the majority of the scene will turn like the people who criticize devs for no reason AT ALL!

He showed respect to them, even tought they havn't made ANY CFW AT ALL!
the scene won't last long .....
if everyone will turn like them...
but, i can see some people still show respect.

QJ Editors - It's improper to headline a story about a group "leaving the scene" when they never did ONE SINGLE THING for the scene in the first place. Therefore, they were never part of the scene to begin with!

So as I understand it if I tip QJ that I'm gonna make a completely new CFW 4.71 and photoshop a picture of the system software saying it's 4.71 and then two days later say I'm *leaving* the scene would QJ post an article about me too? Cuz if they will I want my two minutes of fame. I'm an attention whore yeah.

people who benefit from homebrew should be sad.
you guys ought to be ashamed because you only praise Alex, and not appreciating what team VOID has shared with us homebrew abiders.
HEY VOID, GROW UP EMOTIONAL LOSERS.
Homebrew scene or community as we know it is a mutual relationship between people where the lucky ones with skill shares their successful experiments. DAX for example has hacked the psp and shared his Hard Labor. He announced retirement, lots of people grieved because we know DAX has the ability and the programs we liked to use, He is backed and now we are happy because we know we can have more great and wonderful programs and WE THANK Alex dearly for those. Everyone that also has worked Hard and shared it with us has our Respect too.
now about this leaving/coming back thing, its overused overhyped like halo. even if you had great programs that we loved announcing leaving/comingback to the scene is somewhat a cry for attention. you can just stop sharing programs, few will notice but nobody will really care because it your decision, its your call. its also like announcing, im/were gonna be a nobody again.
i have more reasoning but i guess i have given enough already. anyways make a name first before making a publicity.

What these devs need to realize is that the scene is not entirely represented by these children. Believe it or not, there are people out there who appreciate every contribution and realize that the coding process is time consuming.
And even if that wasn't true, think about it: you're leaving an entire project because some children decided to heckle you. Find some self confidence for god's sake. You know what you're doing is worthwhile and so do the people who matter. So if the school bully hurt your feelings, fine. Seeya. We're better off without you.

They're liars by the seems of things and if not liars just gutted because DAX got there first.
