uPSP Beta: manage PC downloads using your PSP - Image 1If you are one of those who are keen on downloading media files from torrent sites (legal only, of course), then listen well because homebrew coder NameTaken33 has a very viable and helpful solution for you.

He came up with uPSP which is basically a program that lets you control all your PC downloads using your PlayStation Portable. Here are some of  the program's features as well as the information it provides users:

uPSP features:

  • PHP based (15 sec refresh)
  • Any PSP can access it CFW or not, just need the web browser.
  • Allows you to stop torrents
  • Allows you to start torrents
  • Allows you to pause torrents
uPSP information viewable:
  • Download Percentage
  • Torrent Title
  • Download rate
  • Upload rate
  • Estimated Time Remaining
  • Size
  • Seeds
  • Peers
  • Downloaded
  • Uploaded
  • Share ratio
To properly get uPSP working, you must first install a web user interface on your PlayStation Portable. A more detailed instruction can be found in the forum link we provided below.

µTorrent has a web interface, that you can then access from any PC, or PSP.

I've tried it with Opera browser, works fien, haven't tried it on the PSP yet, but it should would since there is a page for mobile browsing.

I just read some more infor on this on the forum, and it acutally is the utorrent webUI.

I don't see how this is news, since the tool already existed for a few months.

As a matter of fact I just checked the Webui you suggested and gave the more info, does not even work in windows explorer. And guess what it does not support the PSP's browser either.

As for your quote it clearly says first install the "web user INTERFACE" where the hell did you see the webserver that you are arguing about?
