Ó

What better way to spend Halloween than to catch up on how our lovely "undaed" are doing? Still no word on the "late October" release for the DaedalusX64 N64 emulator just yet, but if you want PSP updates, then PSP updates shall we deliver.
Shinydude100 dropped by the Daedalus forums to give everyone an update on the Daedalus revival project that he and a couple other coders are cooking up.
For now, it seems to be only a matter of compiling Shinydude100's work with that of the others in the team. Once that's done, they'll have DaedalusX64 Alpha (for devs' eyes only, mind you - for further bug testing and streamlining of code).
After DaedalusX64 Alpha, we can probably see a release. So while we're waiting for that to come around, we're also given a peek at what DaedalusX64 Alpha's partial changelog looks like.
1.2.1 Zilmar GFX Plugin now: 1.3.4. GFX Plugin
**Inserted Microcodes necessary to play Diddy Kong racing and other N64 games. (I'm not 100% sure how this will incorporate into the actual emulator if it needs some coding, shouldn't need any if i place it in the right spot for compiling, since this was origionally a port.
As Shinydude100 says, "Only the plugin and other tiny things have been messed with." The above snippet is an example.
So hold tight, fellow trick or treaters. We'll eventually get a release. No sense rushing the devs, yes? Shinydude100 explains that:
I have: Church,School Projects, and LIFE to deal with, hehe.. bear with me, beauty takes its time. (er.. not that i'm the most beautiful thing, ahh you get the point.. -.- )
Well now, no sense in selling yourself short of being the most beautiful, mate! *wink* We're all beautiful here in the PSP scene, aren't we now?

Also, i said 1.3.4 but I'm not sure about that last ".4" I'll have to looks at the codes again, hehe =D Anyways, the microcodes and plugin are available for the Devs, and they're also doing their part where they can. Kreationz has discussed that he has managed a 3-4 fps speedup due to complilation in r-13 i think... He's good at debugging and fixing errors.

But... one thing bothers me. Why are the I's lowercase? I see about 2 I's that need to be I instead of i and i'm. Do you feel a little tire today? No offence.
