Ah, Tetris. The game of stacking blocks and making rows and racking up points. Today's gaming scene may have evolved beyond simple pastimes, but the appeal of Tetris will never fade - and we see it clearly in this Tetris Clone homebrew for the Sony PlayStation Portable, made by none other than homebrew developer dragula96 himself. Presenting TetriAbeties, one of the more simpler clones we've seen yet.

No, there's no download file at the end of this article, only a video showing off just how solid - and nostalgically inviting - TetriAbeties is, and we can't help but watch. By the looks of things, TetriAbeties looks closer to the recent arcade versions of Tetris we've seen pop up here and there - and the idea of playing something close to it on the go is amazing.

Here's hoping that Dragula96 includes the Grand Master-style gameplay options, where you can speed up the entire thing to ungodly levels (as well as disappearing blocks and rows).

Enjoy the video!

Looks good, but...

IMO, the best Tetris clone available for homebrew-enabled PSPs is the GBA version of Lockjaw: http://www.pineight.com/lj/ Highly configurable, and it worked with music.prx (in 3.71 M33, anyway)...
