Ó

Zx-81 apparently ain't done sharing with us his wonderful releases. This time, it's version 1.0.6 for his PSP emulator of Atari800, 800 XL, 130 XE, and 5200 series. That sure is a goldmine right there, huh?

PSPAtari - Image 1For those of you not in the know, Atari800 is an emu for the aforementioned models of the Atari personal computer. This can be used on console, FrameBuffer or X11. Now, the PSPAtari is actually a port on the PSP version 2.0.2 of Atari800 from Petr Stehlik. What's there to check out in this version?
  • Multiple keyboard mapping feature (Thanks to Pou-chan) : You can now toggle between 3 different keyboard mapping using LTrigger and RTrigger keys
  • Add help menu
  • New background image
  • Bug fix in Rom file requester
  • Bug fix in screenshots
  • Bug fix in keyboard handler
So be sure to check out the Readme attached to the file, cos everything else you  need to know is in it: sources, instructions, acknowledgments, and whatnot. And, you can also check out the thread for discussion and other additional info, such as the how-to for the use of 5200 Roms.

Enjoy!

I already have an emulator for stale Atari games...it's called Xbox Live Arcade.

All kidding aside, more emulators on PSP is always a good thing.
