PSP Easy Disassembler: a GUI for PSPDasm |
Ó
ManiacX has released the PSP Easy Disassembler, which is a GUI for Booster's PSP disassembling program. For those who don't know what this does, a disassembler is a computer program that translates the machine language in a file or program into the assembly language used to create it. Programmers use it mostly for reverse-engineering purposes. That being said, it's not going to be the kind of homebrew that laymen will be able to use.
ManiacX notes, however, that there's a chance he might include this in the next release of CSP Development Studio, so programmers should keep their fingers crossed for that. Other than that, please remember that you'll need .Net Framework 2.0 for this app to run.

nice to see some stuff like this out there
so it just reads the output of the disasm utility that already exists? wow, I could certainly never do that with NOTEPAD before.
homebrew community sux these days...so sluggish...this is the first homebrew app in days...and only programmers can use it. Just last year there were like 5 releases every day...and they were all innovative and fun. I don't think there is much rooom left to improve. We have prty much every emulator out there....nearly every concievable app (i mean, i can't even think of any more to do).

Did notepad support syntax highlighting? Because I don't think it did. And it doesn't. And it never will. If you've actually programmed anything in assembly before, you'd realize how handy something like this is. Nice job, ManiacX!
Wow, ever heard of IDA. This is nothing compared to IDA, any serious hacker or developer would probably never touch this.
thats were i cum in acerage joe with no super hackin gskills
There has been a disassembler for the PSP before it was even released. PS2DIS was a program designed for use with the ps2, but works perfectly with the psp
Notepad2 supports syntax highlighting. ~THE MORE YOU KNOW~
