No Gravity: The Plague of Mind headed to PlayStation Network |
Ó
We've got some interesting news for those folks who love their homebrew. Thanks to a tip from NarooN, we've recently learned that No Gravity: The Plague of Mind, RealTechVR's sequel to the homebrew game No Gravity, will actually be headed to the PlayStation Network.Execom, one of the members of the team, actually wrote about this on February 25, but it was only brought to our attention recently. On page 6 of the forum post under No Gravity: The Plague of Mind entitled "Coming Soon," Execom wrote:
It always been told that we won't released as UMD. Last year, we've contacted 'physical' publishers and rejected the project. And we've said that no UMD version would be out. So this is not new.
So we've created a separate entity that would be official company, distinct from the underground name who realtech is, who got official license to develop on PSP - yes we have a official devkit now -, and yes it would be PSN (I thought you could deduct that already).
It's certainly a great step for something we loved to play on our PSPs. While a release date still hasn't been finalized, we do know that the game's actually been complete for a while now, so any changes to the game now might just be so that it can get past Sony's procedural steps for publishing.
Thanks to NarooN for the tip!

I've been waiting a year or so for this to finally happen.
Well it was supposed to be a free homebrew game. Now all of u guys know the difference between D_A and realtech-vr
One was smart enough to decide to grow as a company and publish a great game.
Good for them!
Thats Just What They Wanted :) Im Happy For Them, My Fav Homebrewerz, Still Hope They Make More
... if you have an official devkit.
I will still buy the game. I was kinda shocked when I found it out so I had to send QJ something. I can't wait, and I personally think it will sell tons if it's for sale.
Wow this is so amazing. We're witnessing the birth of a great franchise and company people. GO REALTECH!
I have no qualms with paying the $5 or whatever if it's a good game. Hell, I'd have donated money anyway.
...lol
They have two new games out now: Eyeliner and Purple Motion. http://www.realtech-vr.com/
When everybody called me an ungrateful jerk, they turn around and took all our free publicity and spit in our faces I will NOT be playing this game, and will be telling people to avoid it, F-U-C-K YOU Realtech, f-u-c-k you very much
i totally agree they did sell out...
the nerve of some people actually trying to make money!
