Netlib v2.01 Bug Fix |
Ó

Youresam from our forums has released a bug fix to his Netlib homebrew library for the PSP. Netlib started out as a library of functions so PSP developers don't have to re-type the code. Then it added phone-dialling feature, then email support and then text messaging! It's so easy to use too. Before you start to get excited, this isn't a brand new release with new features. It's simply netlib v2.0 with an added bug fix - meaning it will actually work! Here's what Youresam said:
After spending hours trying to make a game work, I thought the problem was in netlib, and sure enough, it was. The bug fix is very simple, I just commented a line that was adding to a number it shouldn't. The bug was that after creating an AMW with 2 PSPs, you couldn't create any more AMWs.
Developers take note, the ZIP only contains the server files (source + executable). If you are currently hosting netlib, please update to the new version of the server files! I understand that Youresam was having trouble with the current netlib server, and so TheMarioKarters from our forums is currently hosting netlib as well. If you have problems with the current server, redirect your netlib to 24.168.75.118.

prob only in the usa
Yes, phone dialing is only in the USA. (And canada?, I forgot)
Anyway - to the blogging people: Could you please leave out this part:
Netlib started out as a library of functions so PSP developers don't have to re-type the code.
You've put that sentence in each netlib release. I mean, its pretty obvious what a library is and that sentence sounds so...weird. Thanks.
I imagine that they include that in every posting because they don't know what it does. That's the only description for it that I've ever seen on QJ.
It should be something like:
Netlib is a library of functions to help programmers create online games in Lua.
(At least, that's what I've gathered after a search. I thought before it was something to store code and download it on your PSP, so you 'don't have to type it'. That description is terribly messed up.)
i know it has some really cool features like test messaging and stuff, but has anyone acually got to work? i cant and i dont know how to so it. can anyone help? r there any tutorials or anything i can read????????
id use it if i had wifi access... gonna go buy a router someday and use this
