MVSPSP AND CPS2PSP, both v1.51 |
Elvis hasn't left the building yet, the fat lady hasn't sung either, and NeoGeo emulators - or the US state of New Jersey">NJ's apparently not through with MVSPSP, or so Jungle-Cat tells us. Although this is just a minor bug fix, and it only gets bumped up to v1.51, and he still says it's a "final release"; the dev is still quite concerned for his creation. Quite enough to update the last final release. Here's what NJ has to say (or how Google translates it):Because it seems that mslug4 does not operate normally it corrected. He will never release it. "WIFI CPS2" I believe it was only a stupid joke to trick all of us. All hope is on the GREAT NJ Dev

why do i have to suffer from being kept to play a ordinary KOF 2001 at full speed... it crashes it burns!!! cache error again on MVSPSP CPS2 rox still
On the last version I tried to play Metal Slug 3 and it hangs about 2 minutes in, Metal Slug 4 and 5 will not display any graphics but the sound works? I am gonna try and re convert the cache files. Who knows where a good fourm is about this emulator and getting Metal Slugs to run? I will try again with this version 1.51 and see if I can get them to run. Thanks
I'm using the MVSPSP 1.50 Kernal version and so far I've tested Metal Slug, Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug 5....they all work perfect.
I've finished Metal Slug 1;2;3;4;5 on mvpsp v,150 - all work great.
Do they have sound? I need MS with Sound!
mame roms are different than neo geo but they are neo geo games. With each new release you have to redo the cache for the games. I havent tested metal slug 4 but garou svc choas and all the other metal slugs almost run full speed with sound this emulator is the bomb
I have not found a game that is not full speed and full sound

im getting an error when trying to load a rom on CPS2
GUys has anyone had an issue with metal slug 4 crashing at level 2 when you begin to ride the motorcycle. No matter which version of 4 I try it ends up crashing. If anyone may have any clue as to why this is happening it would really help me . Everything else is MINT. Thank you NJ for the awesome emulators you have made. I hope in the future NJ decides to port over MAME , he would do an excellent job of it Im sure.
i cant convert any rom... wats wrong with this?!?! i cant do the cache file things... i downloaded almost every metal slug game for neogeo from different site and still doesnt convert! help!

Regular or kernal mode? I have a 1.50 psp , which one do I download? which is better and why?
GEt the kernel mode for everything dealing with emulators if you have a 1.5. Ill be honest I have heard from numerous people that its better and I dont know why exactly so Im not gonna bs you, just get kernel for 1.5 and you will be all set. Also , who said the Simpsons game was running and confirmed this, that would be sweet. I tried putting it on but it shows up in red on the game list, is it bc it needs a bios for example : konami etc or bc it simpy isnt supported? Also, I think if im not mistaken people are confused when it comes to saying it plays MAME games, ya it does in a sense but only Neo Geo MAME games and thats a big difference if Im not mistaken, someone correct me if I am wrong.

Mine does that to. I thought it was metal slug 3 that had the motorcycle in it? I wish someone kew how to fix this?

Yes i get the same problem with mslug4. I allso get a problem with mslug5 not diplaying the main screen propperley, same can be said for samurai showdown 5. the screen displays the life bars but everything else is black.. very weird
To those who r having probs with Metal Slug 4, the part where the game crashes during the bike stage actually runs fine if you don't throw any bombs. Not sure if this is anything new. Or alternatively, u can always take the secret route..n bypass the bike stage.
