Would this work if I'd were to buy the GPS adapter for my european PSP, and have maps of Europe (Holland to be specific)? Or is that to soon to ask
this is awesome
gps adapter works on all psps. follow tutorial, you can create virtually any map using google maps. Dont know about other people but london took about a day to create and took about 400mb of memory stick
is the GPS system required to be attached to PSP in order for this program to function like it in the video? or is it a stand alone program that doesn't need the hardware?
Thats way cool!!i want maps for southafrica :P
Yes, you must buy the GPS add-on for it to work. The GPS add-on isn't availible in America yet, but thanks to Play-Asia, You can import it for $68.70 with standard shipping. http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-5l7h-71-bh-49-en-84-j-70-1mij.html You can still use MapThis alone to see maps that you downloaded from google though. --AzN_PlaYEr

Yes, you can use the PSP-290 anywhere in the world, I'm using it in Australia. You just need to download the maps yourself, which is piss easy.
need a custom firmware for this right? :(
sweet!, what a coincidence, i just ordered my GPS yesterday and they are coming out with this , this week!, cant wait!
Great work deniska, this is the BEST homebrew out there to date by far, apart from DAX's OE firmware ;) Now with Voice prompts even better.... Great..
I download the maps using Global Map to download the maps but when i put the maps on the psp it won't load the maps it just keeps trying to load the map but it won't load any suggestions?

This looks and sounds sweet. Really nice addition to the program. I can't wait to try it out. I hope the warning distance is adjustable but I will not be complaining if it isn't.
