-MANIAC-: LUA IDE source codes released |
Ó
First, the good news. PSP homebrew developer -MANIAC- has announced that he's releasing the source codes for his LUA IDE. The source codes available are from the application's April 8, 2007 release, which implies that it's for version 0.8.
Second, the bad news. -MANIAC- is also letting everybody know that he has decided to leave his LUA Development Studio project, and there may be just one final version of this application coming out in the near future. The silver lining to this move is that he has also announced that he's now working on a C/C++ version of the same application, dubbed the C/C++ Development Studio. The screenshots above should indicate his progress with this new project.
Guys who think they can continue his past project are welcome to download the source code below. It's under the GNU Public License - downloaders are strongly advised to view the README and GNU license text files first. There's also -MANIAC-'s release thread over at the QJ.Net Forums, which should provide for discussions on his new work. We wish him luck on his latest endeavor, and thank him for giving us the heads-up on this release.

...lua development studio's?
it is the same one :P just the source code
wauw nice i hope the C/C++ studio is going to work great :) because maby there is no more need for Cygwin *****
cygwin'll still be needed to do the compiling, this just aids scripting...
if you take linux you will have no more need voor cygwin or how you do call it: cygwin *******************
