Frapsp: new video capture application in the works |
Ó
However, Gunner added that he's gunning for a proper capture as well as a better and faster application than SVC. Frapsp is still in its early stages but the owner assures that it doesn't freeze the game. The games may run slower at times but he's working on it, Gunner added.
Frapsp currently uses usbhostfs.prx and psplink.prx butt he plans on including usb host into the plugin. Good luck to Gunner on his Frapsp! We are sure that the community will be there the moment you release this application.

FIRST
second.. I'm dizzy from that video..
So will it save as .gifs or actually video codecs like mpeg or avi?? what about audio support. or would this be too much for the PSP?? Anyways good work.
I noticed the screen was darker and that there appeared to be many MANY frames missing in order to get that appearance that it was faster. Hopefully the rough edges will smoothed out. I would like an alternative capture program that doesn't bring the PSP to a halt when you're trying to record something. Good luck to the developer. Looking forward to progress.
Well.....way to steal the name of a real application.
The 3rd. is almost full speed!! This looks f*cking cool!
I would like to point out that a gif of beta 4 is out and viewable at: http://pspjunk.org/pictures/FRAPSP_01.gif Thanks to vb_master for hosting it.
That looks nice.
i smell a lawsuit coming on due to the name.
Please oh please get this prx working well. Yeah the name is it little similar to another program...but that is something that the author can work out in a release version. What if you call it Capsp (Capture PsP) Gunner?
Very nice. By the way, you said "butt" instead of "but". "Frapsp currently uses usbhostfs.prx and psplink.prx butt..."
um, have u ever thought that the cam had bad quality?
your both phags.
Well done so far dude!!!! Keep up the good work!!!! I'll be looking forward to this!!!! Keep us at QJ.net posted.
Looks promising. I hope this gets released soon and hopefully works in the VSH and POPS just as well.
He didn't use a cam. He used the program. Retard.
Looks cool! I can't wait.
Yeah Fraps will definitely get in this if they hear about it.
Fraps=Fram(es) per second.
Not so long ago Updates asked for copyright infringing works to not be posted on front page.. A few months later look at it. FFS, how hard can it be to call your program something original.. PSPAmp, FRAPSP, on and on and on and on you unimaginitive intellectual property thieves. .. never mind that, how hard can it be for Updates to stand by a decision for once in their life! God this site is so *****e! I limit my visits to once a month or so now but jesus its like staring into a toilet bowl of feces and vomit looking at this site. Its as though the site and forum are trying to suck 20-30 years of maturity out through my eyeballs and throw it away.
There is no reason to freak out here, We already changed the name.
and how the f**k would that happen when we're talikng about homebrew products not corporate products?
usbhostfs.prx and psplink.prx --butt-- he plans on including usb host nice one! correct it before more people read it!
Dude, you think he WANTED it to appear faster? The PSP can only handle so much, so it obviously can't capture EVERY frame, and less frames + seems faster... but the guy didn't make it have less frames to make it appear faster...
This looks really good, Gunner. Please keep up the great work.
dude did you even read the article at all, even the title. omg "maybe the camera was bad". haha biggest noob since leeroy jenkins.
