(a) Fanjita's recently announced via his blog that he's going to be "slowing down" on PSP development work. Or to quote him, "I won't be able to spend as much time on PSP projects as I would like for the near future."(a).1. To clarify before an outburst of sorrow spams us, he's not leaving, m'kay? He had to drop by our forums to point it out. He's just not going to be as busy as before. But there are very good reasons for this.
(b) Reason #1 is he's going to be a dad! Congratulations, Fanjita! There's gotta be a cigar here somewhere (goes AFK and rummages through closets looking for a celebratory smoke - waitaminute, that's a bad idea...)...
Fanjita's confident that the rest of the Noobz team and the PSP scene will still manage to make great headway in the future, even with his reduced presence. But man, to be a dad, that feeling beats teh high score or teh hax.
At the same time, with that in mind, the veteran haxxor is looking to web design ventures to help support his growing family. One of his ventures happens to be involved with his wife's business: handmade greeting cards. Take up his invitation, visit August Design via that off-site link and browse around. Hey, it's going to be Mother's Day soon, you know.

I have a 3 year old who I don't get to see often. I love her dearly, more than my hacking talents, more then the PSP, more than anything. I congratulate you for all you have done for all of us. Without you, Dark_Alex, and many others, homebrew would never have been achieved.
I only wish that your new child will achieve great things as you and all the developers of homebrew have, whom have made countless games and apps for the PSP and other platforms, but most of all, make others happy as you yourselves have done.

Congrats! You were the one who made it possible for me to downgrade my 3.03 PSP so I could play FFVII on my PSP! Thanx a lot for that and congrats with your new baby! i f wer'e really lucky the kid follows his fathers footsteps and make hombrew for us on our PSP3, 4, 5 or whatever! I say we should all chip in a dollar or 2 and buy him a set of baby clothes or even a toy for his kid. After all he has saved us much money on games. If it wasnt for him we would all be spending 60+ dollars on each game.
