devhookchunglamFrom version 1.65b, Chunglam is now up and about reminding us that the Devhook Launcher/VSHEX Mod ain't over till the whole dev thingy is over. We've counted just a little less than a week and bang! Another update called version 1.65c. This time it's quite a smaller one though, and here's the changelog:
  • Compatible with 2.71SE-B
  • Added Korean font (generated from TrueType font) and language file by friends from Korea
  • Added Chinese game title macro "names.big5" by friend from Taiwan
  • Added Simplified Chinese help file by CrUmp Zhao
  • Updated Portuguese Brazil language and help file by Pender666
As we've taken account in the past blogs dedicated to Chunglam's Devhook Launcher, the mod is actually a bit like a spin-off of TheBuzzer's Devhook GUI Launcher Mod. The developer stresses that this is mainly for Korean users. Anything you want to know on how to install and how to use the mod can be found on the Readme.txt file. Also check out the mini-faq.txt if you got questions that Chunglam might just be able to answer. Thanks and keep 'em good stuff coming, Chunglam!

» 2.71SE emulation?

Ok. I see the 2.71se choice. Say I magically got the 2.71 se fw dump. Could I now emulate it on a TA-082?

Did you install 2.71se on your psp yet? If you did, then it should mess up. You need to install 2.71se a or b version to run this devhook.

Nah think you still need an umd.

» devhook?

Just to clarify, does this mean that se-b can be emulated just like normal firmware without it accessing the flash?

by WhereTheWhiteWomenAt - 2006-10-27 05:23
» not sure but

I don't think it means it emulates se-b since all the other devhooks can already do that. Se-b can play most of the umds without the need for devhook, and homebrew, an all in one firmware.

This devhook is just se-b compatible I guess not all of the UMDs work yet. I don't really know too much about since I haven't upgraded to se-b. I don't see a point messing with my psp flash on something I can already do. Its just takes me 2 extra steps to do.

» USB Errors

On 2.71 SE-B, when I try to use USB to load my roms, I can get them to mount, but when I try to load the game, it flashes the PSP startup screen, it ends up saying the game cannot be started. Anyone have any suggesetions?

» what are you doing?

You trying to emulate 260 and 270? If you;re trying to use Devhook Launcher Mod 1.65c then you're making things harder on yourself. Are you a TA-082 mobo or 2.71seA-B user. Let me know I think I could help you without you having to get that reboot.bin.
