Just a few days after releasing PSP Slim-compatible variants of all of his homebrew emulator projects, it appears that uberjack is up to something once again. The coder states via the Akop site that he's got several new ideas in mind for a future build for fMSX - the MSX emulator for the PSP - in light of its recent speed boosts. Here's a basic rundown of uberjack's plans:- Short-term:
- Compile the emulator with MSXAUDIO and MSXMUSIC support, and make it possible to toggle the emulation on and off while the emulator is running.
- Long-term:
- Implement proper 512-column display for screens 6, 7 and 80-column text mode (the current version simply renders every other column).
- Implement FDD (floppy disk drive) and keyboard (CAPSlock, etcÂ…) activity indicators.
