CPS1PSP/CPS2PSP/MVSPSP/NCDZPSP ver.2.0.6 |
Ó
Alright, everyone! Listen up! This here is a one-time, big-time drop, so you better be quick on your feet to catch them all! We've got for you NJ's big bash, the latest version (it's now at 2.0.6) of his *takes a deep breath* CPS1PSP/CPS2PSP/MVSPSP/NCDZPSP.We told ya it's gonna be a lot. Now, there are a lot of stuff to know about these sweet peas. Google did a swell job of translating NJ's notes, and for this, we'd all like to bid you good luck. Check out what we mean:
Modification
- Attendant upon the source integration of NCDZPSP, all sources were rewritten.
- Adding Japanese user interface edition with all emulators. Japanese user interface edition when it compares with English edition, about 800KB consumes memory in excess.
- MAME Plus! It corresponded to the command list of type. Please put command.dat on the same directory as EBOOT.PBP. Furthermore, when the Japanese command list is used, about 800KB memory is consumed in excess.
- The item which can be set with makefile increases, but UI_BPP32 other than NCDZPSP the one which it tries not to use is good, is. Compiling is possible, but memory is not enough and when the game cannot be started occurs.
Thanks to Gandhi, Amar Rajvanshi for the tip!

What... is it?
Thanks again, NJ!
Context missing :(
In the Mvs adhoc ver. how do you acess the menu, setup screen, and other options?
I need this too, help.
to get to the set up menu in the newer version, you hit the Home button instead of hitting Start+Select.
Do you also know how to get adhoc to work?
I didn't understand any of that post except that there is a new version of these emulators and that one of the features is it has added Japanese language support. The rest of it was just a confusing mess. Please someone with some better language skills translate it instead or relying on Google to do the job for you.
when I play mvsp adhoc have two different stages .any body
have this problem?
I've been playing SVC and everything is fine.
The only thing I don't quite understand is how the adhoc feature works or how you turn it on in the first place. That'd be something cool to know.
didn't NJ quit several times?
I don't think he quit, I think he felt that the reason why he stopped working on his emus is that they were as perfect as the PSP hardware would allow it.
Then after a break he probably realized that he could go another direction with them.
could someone tell us noobs how to use mvspsp adhoc mode?
Thanks!
I think you have to press "square" instead of "circle" when selecting a game from the list.
you press square when selecting a game instead of circle.
What does it do, what's it for? Is there any reason to updaye to 2.06 - already on 2.0
I'm glad to see these emulators continue, we're VERY lucky to have awesome programmers like NJ on the scene, but I'm vexed with the consistent releases because he still hasn't fixed support for certain games and dip-switch bugs on the CPS1PSP emulator! >:[
Bugs I've yet to seen fixed in CPS1PSP:
- Some dip-switches just won't flat-out work for some games (examples would be U.N. Squadron and King of Dragons, and trust me, they're not the only ones), usually being one of the switches that toggles the difficulty level. Sometimes setting the value to 5 or another number will permanently set the game's difficulty to 1 until you remove it's corresponding config file.
- Visual glitches with Quizzes and Dragons. While the FPS is perfect, the entire graphics in the game are just extremely buggy, and gets pretty ugly to look at. Play the game and see what I mean.
- Toggling the difficulty in Megaman - Power Battles makes the PSP lock-up, for some reason.
As far as I'm concerned, these are the only problems I have encountered, unless there's some trick to get these issues resolved that I haven't known about yet... I'd love to play Quizzes and Dragons without the game bugging out on me.
I description on what this is, what it does, or why I need it, would have been nice.
Adhock is multiplayer between 2 psp's within a close range. If you have a friend with a psp you can go to his house and play multiplayer games using 2 psp's.
wow ur real mature, what are you like 10
ok can some one please tell us old folk on how to get this thing running on 1.5 I ate to many paint chips today and I forget how to get this on my psp when I open it up there's only one folder most the time there's two Please Help....
I tried the adhoc but its not working it keeps trying to load and decrypt the files over and over again instead of starting the game
Thanks NJ
I can`t convert rbff2 in MVSPSP2.0.6
but, I can convert rbff2 in MVSPSP 2.0
Version 2.0 rbff2_cache use in MVSPSP2.0.6
aof work but, character break.
Enough of your venting. He has done so much with regards to emulating CPS1 and CPS2 games. If you can do a better job then let's see it. Start programming! Otherwise stop complaining.
Thanks a lot NJ! Keep it up! You definitely need to be rewarded for your work.
Isn't it like the previous versions? Start and select for the menu.. adhoc is square to start instead of O or X. ...or that's what I think, I haven't dl'ed this yet.
i want convert kof2002 but the converte say crc32 no correct can somebody help me
I have a few files that are all different.
What kind of files does this run?
sehr tool!

for those of you having problems converting certain games for MVSPSP, if you check NJ's site ( http://nj-emu.hp.infoseek.co.jp ), he released a fixed rominfo.mvs file for MVSPSP 2.0.6
Getting to the dip switches does not always work through the configuration menu, but you can still get to the dip switch settings of the "machine" by holding both triggers and pressing select.
NJ IS A FREAKING MACHINE
but what the hell are the "bootleg versions"
when i try to convert a rom just say sound1 error whats happen?
bootleg allows you to play hacked versions..say like street fighter CE m7..and rainbow edition on cps1..
I was trying the euro marvel vs capcom and it wasn't working but it works with the us version so I guess thats my fix.
Try to convert from Program Files
Does anyone have a guide on what type of source ROM MVSPSP needs? I've tried to view the readme files, but my text editors won't view them correctly. Notepad, Wordpad, and OpenOffice are not detecting that they're supposed to be viewed with Japanese characters. Instead I get gibberish even Babelfish can't decipher when pasted in using it's proper setting.
I've run into a few problems with MVSPSP. I currently have version 1.63 [Final] and it is running fine. However, anytime I try to upgrade to 1.7, 2.0, or any of these newer ones, the whole emulator won't even start. If I'm not missing out on anything, it's no big deal. However, I'm playing King Of Fighters 98 and the graphics are kind of messed up. Is it supposed to be that way, or do I need to change some settings, or do I need to upgrade? Any tips are much appreciated.
Oh, to be exact, the problem with any of the updated emulators is that when I try to run it, it will tell me "The game could not be started. (80020148)" Anyone know how I can fix this and the graphics problem? Thanks again.
I recently downloaded this great emulator, but I cannot get King of Fighters 97 Plus(bootleg) to work. Can somebody walk me through the installation of this room? I've already converted the rom, gotten the cache file and put them both in their respective locations in the MVSPSP folder.
Are you running a custom firmware? If you are running a 1.50 version (non custom), then you should get NKXPLOIT, which allows you to run 1.0 eboots. Go here to download, when you have finished downloading, simply put the NOKXPLOIT and NOKXPLOIT% folders in your GAME folder on your PSP, then run. Don't worry this does not overwrite any files, so when you turn off your PSP, 1.0 eboots will not work anymore. I advice you to put your PSP to sleep if you desire to keep playing these newer versions of MVSPSP. Sorry if I am babbling. Get the NKXPLOIT here: (http://dl.qj.net/NO-KXploit-Patcher-PSP/pg/12/fid/6442/catid/114)
Hope this helps.
alright well i tried installing to the best of my ability, it said bios not found so i went and got a bios but it still doesnt reconize any bios file...
The Ad-Hoc connection is a sweet idea, since my friend and I were both interested in playing this, and all the (school sanctioned) routers on campus use WPA-Enterprise (which the PSP does not support)
