For those of you waiting for developer Winnydows to release the final version to the latest build of her homebrew video converter app XviD4PSP, then you're in luck. The newest release for v5.028 puts together all the previous RC updates that were previously put up and compiled all the features into a final build for this version.Asides from the previous updates included in past RC versions of the app, this release includes additional file rebuilders for MKV and FFMpeg formats, as well a several new filtering presets. All the other RC updates have also been included in this final build.

- From main installer unnecessary splitters. These functions must do your codec pack now.
- To main installer added AviSynth 2.5.7 MT (multi-processor version) now.
- Added a lot of new filtering presets, many of them with a multi-processor support. Thanks HellGerhard and Andrew_B.
- FFMpegSource decoder updated to version 1.15. Now it is a static version does not require the installation of files in the system32.
- Updated components: ffmpeg, MP4Box, x264.
- Added MKVRebuilder tool. It helps rebuild damaged MKV files.
- Added FFRebuilder tool. Use it to decode or rebuild any problematic or damaged file.
- Added translations to French, Spanish, Hebrew, Portuguese and Chinese. Thanks to mwm, leglaude061, Ginger, chrono_kazumi and evanren.
- For simple bitrate encoding added auto bitrate calculation.
- Fixed audio tracks selection.
- Fixed crop aspect fix for cropped sources.
- iPod profiles renamed to MP4 iPod 5.0G and MP4 iPod 5.5G.
- Archos profile renamed to MP4 Archos 5G.
- Tweaked and fixed Archos format.
- Added MP4 Archos 650 format.
- Added Italian translation, thanks to 9600pro.
- Fixed resolution masks.
- Fixed XviD profile creation crash.
Since this is the final release for this build of XviD4PSP, you can install the app from scratch without the need for any previously installed versions. In any case, you can download the file through the link we've provided below.

Why is every version called FINAL VERSION?
You think that FIRST VERSION would be better? ;P
Look at the changelist, there are probably a ton of XviD4PSP v5.028 versions made in the development process. But they all didn't yet fully satisfied the dev. and therefore weren't released. Only the one Winnydows thinks is (near) perfect will be released and is therefore called XviD4PSP v5.028 Final (anyone plz correct me if I'm wrong)
