Comments
People who post frst really never have anything interesting to say do they?
so why post at all?
Pretty unique for someone to comment on posting first, huh? Imagine how exciting their life must be.
Tried the previous releases but they crashed all the time.. hopefully this will be better
when app crash ? have you avisynth installed ?
I don't use Xvid4PSP but have been following its progress since Version 4.000. I have noticed how hard winnydows works on this project, utilising difficult to handle microsoft technologies (.Net Framework) and being the only developer I have seen responding to people's complaints patiently on these comments and actually fixing them up for free! It's people like Winnydows which make me feel proud to own a PSP and be a part of the PSP community.
This developers works with amazing speed but the app has never worked for me... It always fails on the mux video and audio part. I'll stick to PSPVIDEO9. cherrs

Hehe, Sorry for the triple posting... Don't know what happened to my browser. winnydows: You sure do amazing work mate. I'm trying to do a simple conversion of avi material. I've tried 2 movies and they both fail. Here are the specs for one fo them: File extension : avi File size : 733171712 Format : AVI Format : Audio Video Interleave Extensions : avi Codec : AVI Codec : Audio Video Interleave Extensions : avi Overal BitRate : 877314 Overal BitRate : 877 Kbps PlayTime : 6685602 PlayTime : 1h 51mn Writing application : VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.1 (build 2439/release) Writing library : VirtualDubMod build 2439/release Codecs Video : XviD Audio codecs : MPEG-1 Audio layer 3 Video #0 Count : 43 Count of stream of t : 1 Kind of stream : Video StreamKindID : 0 Codec : XVID Codec : XviD Family : MPEG-4 Info : XviD project Url : http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml Codec settings : BVOP NVOP Bit rate : 798050 Bit rate : 798 Kbps Width : 544 Height : 400 Aspect ratio : 1.360 Aspect ratio : 4/3 Frame rate : 23.976 Frame rate : 23.976 fps FrameCount : 160294 Bits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.153 Interlacement : [PPF] Picture-per-field Chroma : 4:2:0 Audio #0 Count : 41 Count of stream of t : 1 Kind of stream : Audio StreamKindID : 0 Codec : 55 Codec : MPEG-1 Audio layer 3 Family : MPEG-1 Url : http://www.iis.fraunhofer.de/amm/index.html Bit rate : 66264 Bit rate : 66 Kbps Bit rate mode : VBR Writing library : LAME3.93 Channel(s) : 1 Channel(s) : 1 channel Sampling rate : 48000 Sampling rate : 48 KHz SamplingCount : 320908896 Resolution : 16
How 'bout a version of this for OSX?
i've had a few problems with this app too. a hell of a lot of video files have said sorry cant mux video & audio (previous releases though). I love the .mkv support but it never seems to be able to cope with any iof the digital tracks that are incorporated into most .mkv files. i also find avitopmp is over double the speed in the same settings.
I've tried just about every video converter out there and XviD4PSP always produces the highest quality files for use on PSP. I don't know what you did in this version, but I'm getting output files again! Keep up the good work! Thanks for helping out Winnydows!
every time I download and install this program my computer says it has to close can some one help me on how to install this properly or what to do
@Nessly If you want more higher quality check Denoise (TemporalCleaner) and Sharpen (AviSynth). @someone I need other kind of information: Output format Settings Have you installed: Windows Media Player 10 AviSynth 2.5.6-7 DivX Pro 6.2.5 ? @Eric The Midget :) Maybe. But not now. When I buy mac. @Nuwidol AVItoPMP best for speed. My app best for quality. Make your choise. Make sure what you have all minimal requrement installed. I will test mkv import. @mikeyp You must have installed: Microsoft Framework v2.0.50727 Windows Media Player 10 AviSynth 2.5.6-7 DivX Pro 6.2.5
Previous post was my. Sorry Nessly. Try reinstall Windows Media Player 10. Also try install ffdshow with no postprocessing and no normilize. Uncheck XviD and DivX if you have DivX Pro installed. Check all audio codecs (dont check uncopressed !).
