Homebrew developer Winnydows has released the latest version of XviD4PSP, the PC-based video converter for the PSP. This release came with the first public release of Winnydows Commander.
This release has several new features. Here's the changelog from Winnydows:
- Updated components: x264, ffmpeg, tsMuxeR.
- Fixed installation errors on Windows Vista with UAC on.
- Fixed errors with audio tracks.
- Small fixes.
- Interface and overall programm must work a little bit faster.
- Changed PayPal account.
- If encode to BluRay with target size, must be more correct output size now.

the audio problem still exists. all videos that I convert, the audio either lags behind the video or it sounds slowed down or no audio at all.
isn't psp video 9 better than this xvid4psp?
PSP Video 9 gives crap videos(it's profiles are horrible, and to change something is frustrating to say the least) and less export options.
This is a good solution but it would be great if someone made a DivX player for the PSP. My 100mhz Pocket PC has a completely useable DivX player after all, and the architecture is nowhere near as efficient as a modern CPU like the PSPs.
Ah well. Guess I'll continue just converting my vids once for iTunes and watching on my iPod instead.
Nice to see Winnydows still working on this great application.
