xautob - 2.71 SEC Autoboot PRX v0.2

We'll quote fellow writer Jex H. on this one: "And so the SE-C mania continues." Over at our forums, mov just released xautob, an autoboot PRX for Dark_Alex's 2.71 SE-C. v0.2 fixes a small bug from the prior version that led to 2.71 applications being loaded under 1.50, mov explains.

Let the Readme explain this homebrew best:

This is a plugin for autostarting eboots under firmware 2.71se (tested only under se-C)

Features:

cheesy fix allowing cpu speed changes (amongst other things?) for autostarted iR Shell 3.0 under 2.71 kernel (not sure if the problem affects apps besides iR Shell haven't checked - but the workaround is enabled for all 2.71 apps anyway).
support for associating the following buttons with apps: triangle, circle, cross, square, left/right triggers, up, down, left, right, select, start, home, hold & the wlan switch state (on/off).
config file support (psp/system/xautob.cfg); format: `button=ms0:/path/to/eboot'. includes basic comment support (lines prefixed with #), kernel specification, pretty loose button/kernel reading (ltrigger is the same as LtRiGgEr is the same as ltrig, 150 cross = cross_150, etc.). blank or invalid path entries in the config are interpreted as "load the XMB"; if multiple entries for the same button are found the last one is used.

Well the Quickboot PRX is good but remember it boots to 1.5 Kernel only.

Thats fine if you mainly use a 1.5 eboot.

If however (like me) you use SC-C and run IRshell 3.0. This is very handy as it allows instant booting into either 1.5 or 2.71 mode of IRshell.

(when i upgraded IRshell, i never really thought i'd use the 2.71 much, but i'm finding i use it a lot more than i expected).

This is a great plugin, thanks for the update.

The use of a config file is much appreciated, thats something we have all mentioned and have been looking forward to. Thanks for working it all out

k, having problems getting it to boot 1.5 mode of Irshell.

Regardless of the position of the WiFi switch, it only wants to boot 2.71 mode.

Obviouslt needs some tweaking - i must be missing something.

After about 20 minutes of playing with it I realized that it ignores the last line or two in the config. To make it all work you have to put a few extra lines in the end, kinda like this

Everything should work then. Contrary to the readme, the home, square, and circle buttons do not work. (I haven't tried left, right, up, down, start, brightness, note, volume+, volume-, or hold yet.) I'd really like to be able to go to xmb by holding home. :( Another cool thing would be the ability to launch UMD's (Which I also tested, and doesn't seem to work.) I also couldn't get devhook to launch for a while, until I copied and pasted the line for launching irshell150 and changed the button and folder, although I'm sure it was just something I was missing. Otherwise, awesome app, thank you mov!

I have Got The Eboot From Loco Roco Edited it to get a 1.5 Remote to Start Working But It Crashed After 1min On 2.81
