If you've been around for quite a while in the homebrew scene, you definitely must have heard of PSP Earth from last year. Oh you remember, I'm sure - "access webcams across the globe" and all those worldly functionalities. Well, updates for Mat_Dizzy's webcam portal project have screeched to a standstill, but that's just about to change.

Mat_Dizzy has announced that PSP Earth v0.6 will be released some time next month! Ha! Grab a can of whoopass; this project's still got some life juice in it yet! A quick note from Mat_Dizzy:

Unfourantly this release will still be within the web browser - but will be structured very heavily within Adobe Flash. This means alot of flashy moving images ect - well, more than that...

Anyway the release is scheduled for sometime in December this year. I was originally going to release it as a Christmas Edition, but seeing how bad Summer Holiday Edition did back in 2007 i decided not too.

So keep it here. Bet your bottom dollar we'll be on top of things once this baby gets released. Meanwhile, to re-acquaint yourself with the app, you can download the most recent (which isn't actually recent - this one dates back to September 2007!) version of PSP Earth below.
