CaptSmokey6 has released a modified version of FreePlay's FreeRadio PSP homebrew app that doesn't need to be installed on a memory stick. Instead, this version is web-powered.

All you need to do to access FreeRadio's web version is point your PSP's browser to http://captsmokey16.110mb.com. It works with PSPs running custom firmware 3.80 M33 or higher. Even PSPs running official Sony firmware can get in on the action.

So far, CaptSmokey6's FreeRadio mod includes all of the stations in the original app as well as two versions of iPartyRadio - a high quality version and one for 56k connections. More stations will be added in the future.

Take away the "1" after captsmokey leaving you with

http://captsmokey6.110mb.com/ for the real site.

» ... Excuse me?

Not only did he not ask my permission to modify this, but the entire POINT of FreeRadio was to have it run entirely from the memory stick so YOU could customize it however you wanted.
