Slasher of Team Duck has just tipped us off on his recent update to his homebrew app, Wave Flasher. As Slasher himself said before, there are already hundreds of custom XMB waves already, but because the essence of homebrew (in this writer's opinion at least) is choice and providing an alternative, we're more than welcoming of all the brews that come out.
So anyway, quite a lot of users were reporting "brickage" when we posted the previous version of this app. So to clarify some stuff, we're gonna share with you what Slasher said: This is for just about any custom firmware version, including 3.03 OE-C, AND 3.10 OE-A. I've heard reports of this bricking 1.5's, so I wouldn't risk it if I were you.
Now that we got that out of the way, let's get on to what you can expect in v3. This is actually not that big an update, but nonetheless cool. According to Slasher, 'you can now also include a screenshot of that particular system_plugin_bg.rco. Just make sure the screenshot is a PNG or JPG, and is named the same as its corresponding system_plugin_bg.rco." Aaaand that's it! If you like what you've heard (and more importantly, if you know what you're doing), then there's no reason not to...

As for the Wave Flasher, I think this is pretty cool because if you want to switch between 2 coloured/styled waves you can just keep one as your most recent and then have a newer one and flash between them.
