I don't think it'll work on 3.0x OE, since that firmware requires modules like update_plugin.prx to be sigchecked. In other words, the modules themselves are *unique per PSP* and can't be loaded unencrypted, so far as I know.

I don't really see the point of this. Why would you want to reboot your PSP from the main menu?



I guess if you want to save 4 secs of holding up the power button.

Umm... wouldn't you rather it just turn OFF ur PSP instead of rebooting? Saves you a couple of seconds ;)

well that killerhurtz person must of done something wrong because i got the prx and flashed it with psp filer and it works great and i even changed the text to "reboot psp"

Well, I'm running this on 3.03OE-B, so I can confirm it works. And KillerHurdz: I coded this solely for testing VSH plugins, because it's really annoying to turn off the PSP and turn it on again instead of just simply rebooting

first put the update_plugin.rco in the root of the memory stick and then in psp filer press left trigger, left, and right trigger to ativate hacker mode. then press square on the update_plugin in the root and press copy to ramdisk or whatever it says and then press start and keep pressing start till you get to the folders that have the folder vsh then when you get to the flash0:/vsh/nodule/ press x and then paste file from ramdisk

i got mine from the topmenu_plugin.rco generator when i made my custom

better a power-off plugin!

ya i noticed that too it wasnt from me though its been like that since that program generated the topmenu_plugin.rco. its suposed to be like a key with certifercate utility but its not, but it doesnt bother me because i dont even use that srry bout that

Yes the hex editing is kind of a pain in the ass.

start at offset 00004B00 and highlight all the way to 00004B27 and replace it with this:

Make sure you replace the old line and not insert a new line

i guess i must be the stupid noob that the read me was talking about, even tho i have been using homebrew on my psp for more than a year and never had any trouble. i am on 3.03 oeC and i just got semi bricked. i hope i can fix it in the recovery menu.
