VistaPSP R1 custom XMB theme |
Ó
Care for another serving of PlayStation Portable XMB themes? Homebrew developer pj1115 (recently responsible for the PSP Browser Sound Hack) is letting the PSP personalization aficionados out there know about his new project - VistaPSP R1. This homebrew XMB theme is based on Windows Vista, and aside from the slick visuals, also includes another treat: extra-long menu texts, accredited to ZiNgABuRgA's topmenu hack. Going into details on who made the icons:
- Savedata loading icon (Undertaxxx)
- Game loading icon (Undertaxxx)
- Photo loading icon (Undertaxxx)
- Topmenu Icons & Special extended menu text (3.03 OE-C only) (PSPculture; pj1115's custom text)
- Battery icon (undertaxxx)
- VistaPSP Wallpaper (By pj1115)
- Vista boot sound for opening audio, as well as custom coldboot text (By pj1115)
- "Duality" custom XMB waves (Nevada)
- System Navigation sounds (and browser sounds using my recent hack)
- Volume images (PSPCulture; modified by pj1115).
Kudos to pj1115 for the application - we look forward to seeing future updates for this pack.

why would u want your psp to look like a horribly crappy os? f m$ in the a. switch to linux.
I dissagrere vista rocks thought it would suck to but it doesn't. I don't like the bg should have used the blue and green
Anyone eles read that? it said works with 3.03OE_C and 3.10OE_A
@ f m$ I have to agree with you, Vista is a horrible OS indeed, don't like this theme. @ pspfreak101: Vista is horrible and you're a noob, you can easily change the bg as you were already told by "lol".
yee.....i read it.........u trying it???
it sayz in tha read me it will work if u dont use da topmenu_plugin
your mother sucks
it only says 3.03OE_C and 3.10OE_A What about for the people who fixed the bugs and went to B?
It does work in 3.10 OE-A, but NOT THE TOPMENU ICONS AND TEXT!
dont use TOPMENU_PLUGIN.RCO for 3.10 OE_A or OE_A' (ther is no B in 3.10 OE(that i know of))
qoute:» lol you can change the bg...... no dip really not a noob I said he should have use the green and blue vista bg instead of the green its much better
Linux is cool, but i like XP the most because i have been using it for 11 years now... and I'm 14 :) OSX is awesome, but I only used it once so I know basically nothing about it.
BOOO Vista. Go Mac or XP. BOO!!! Make some crunk theme not vista.
you know everyone hated xp when it first came out go easy on vist and give it a chance
you are using it since 11 years, eh? the release date of xp was 25. october 2001. erm have i lost the last 5 years? is now 2012... aaahhhh
i hate these temporal anomalies and subspace singularities wich cause this time travels, too. i had to spend 6 years of my life in 12th century.
this is so cool. I calling my mom right now!
boy , u watch back to the future too much... y don you b a goob kid and start reading shakespears and watch disney channel!! that suit u better
How come this guy rips off all my icons, volume, battery graphics, sticks it with some other background and then gets all the credit for the work? I released this 'XP' style theme back on the 24th Fab : See http://www.pspculture.co.uk/windows-vista-custom-psp-xmb-theme for the original release.
PSPculture, I gave you credit for the flippin' graphics! Look at the readme, it even says it in the news post! The idea of the theme is to compile parts of different themes in order to piece together a more complete, authentic theme. They're fantastic pieces of work, to be sure, and I did give you credit for everything of yours that I included.
I have written in the readme as the battery icon coming from Undertaxxx, which is a mistake, because that's what USED to be in there. I need to update the readme and original post. QJ, could you change "Undertaxxx" in the battery icon credits to "PSPCulture"?
Ah right, so that makes it all right then? Next time you put hours into creating something and I 'release' it, I'll makje sure to credit you in the readme.
I'm sorry about all this, I really am. However, how many themes recently have integrated components from other people's work? Many. The 'ultimate' black theme is just one example. There's really no need to fuss, the easiest way would have been just to ask QJ to remove the download, and I would be more than happy to aknowledge your opinions. QJ if you would be so kind as to remove the download due to a clash with the author of some components. I may consider re-releasing once I create something with my own hands.
I am on Vista it rocks you just dont like it because you dont have it and its to exspensive for you
no its not cause i can't pay for it because if i wanted to have it i would get a cracked version. xp also sucks along with the rest of the windows os series. windows is only good for games and thats only because of directx. linux is ok but i'm a freebsd user. why not some linux themes? the playstation consoles work with linux so it would only make sense.
i have vista nothing great. mac can run windows on it too.
where do i put all the files in my psp 3.03 oe-c please help.
