PSP - Image 1

Homebrew shells such as iR Shell have an integrated battery monitor which tells you what percentage your battery is at. This can be very useful as you can see exactly how much power your PSP has before it runs out of juice.

Conventional battery icons just don't cut it when you only have 1 bar and it's the final level of the game you've been trying to complete for ages - you need to know exactly how much time you have left. That's why the creator of Flash Agent, Hallo007 has released a new PRX for custom firmware users.

Currently, this battery PRX only shows the percentage of battery life when you press the note key, but Hallo007 plans to add more features in future versions now that he has the hang of making PRX's. This is his first PRX and therefore there may be a couple of bugs in this release. It has already been noted that the screenshot PRX uses the note key to operate as well, but this will all be fixed in future versions.

To install the battery PRX, simply copy the extracted folders into the SEPLUGINS folder, make a vsh.txt  and enable it in recovery mode.

Yes! A battery indicator that's useful for once.

p.s. The only thing worse than first posters are the idiots that acknowledge them.

This still dose work with the capture prx? or do you have to turn the picture prx off and then turn this one on? Oh and i found that DGEN dosent work when a prx is on. It just shuts down and turns the psp off after 10 sec.

"Conventional battery icons just don't cut it when you only have 1 bar and it's the final level of the game you've been trying to complete for ages"

And it won't help you there, since it doesn't work in-game. And it flickers like hell in the XMB.

I know but patience since it is only v0.01

Hopefully It might fix and maybe to allow on in-game.

this conflicts with the svcapture plug-in..seeing as you have to hit the music note to takes screens or record video.

# does this flash the internal memory or run off the memorystickGuest 2007-02-20 19:44
I don't want to flash this, but if you don't have to flash anything its a cool app.

# would be greatGuest 2007-02-20 22:45
if this was permanently on, repositionable, and colored. Then we could flash a battery icon that transparent and place this in its position. Or better yet, integrate it into the psp flash and have it fully replace the battery icon. Then it would be something to get excited about. As for now, its not as if your dying to know how much battery is left when your in the XMB, its when your in game that its a problem. Making this fairly useless.

# flashing textGuest 2007-02-20 23:52

# Nice app! - problems in Flash Agent!Guest 2007-02-21 01:16
love both your apps, BUT in Flash Agent 3 there is a problem. i redirect the route to the custom gameboot at the MS. and i debranded the PMF, but when i change the coldboot sound (also opening_plugin.rco where FA3 is editing the debrand and route) i still got the right gameboot, but it aint debranded any more...? and if i then debrand the gameboot i lose my coldboot sound?

some thing you can fix?

great work by the way!!!

i'm out - Xi-Bit

# you could change the button layout for capture.prxGuest 2007-02-21 03:40
all you have to do is open the capture.ini with a text editor and edit it to this:

ScreenShot = PSP_CTRL_SELECT + PSP_CTRL_LTRIGG ER

VideoStartNorma l = PSP_CTRL_SELECT + PSP_CTRL_RTRIGG ER

VideoStartAdvan ced = PSP_CTRL_SELECT + PSP_CTRL_LTRIGG ER + PSP_CTRL_RTRIGG ER

VideoStop = PSP_CTRL_SELECT

# Sorry, not good enough...Guest 2007-02-21 10:23
As for this weekends release of PSEvolve, this PRX will NOT be included because its so glitchy and very incompatible.

When things are sorted out, I will probably release PSEvolve with V2 or an Update.

Thanks,

NG
