Well, after his recent release of v0.5 of the 2.71 SE-A customizer, BadBoy is at it again as he has just released an update: 2.71 SE-A Customizer 0.5b. In this version, he has made the following revisions:
- USB Support (Triangle to activate/deactivate) [don't use while the PSP copy something, it can brick your PSP]
- Change bootsound (opening_plugin.rco)
- Screenshot function (press L-Trigger, saved to PSP/PHOTO/271c_01.png ...)

i agree out of date, that is so one week ago, it is kind of sad for ppl developing things for stuff that changes one a week.
from the comments above me...i guess this wouldn't work for SE-B3?

I'm really excited about this program. Its an X-Flash clone for 2.71SE. But I'm not going to use it until it's matured a bit. Keep up the good work!

of course it works on SE-B... It's general 'homebrew' so if this isn't going to work then neither will your other emulators and such F-O-O-L-I-S-H IDIOT
HELLLO QJ.NET, WHY DO YOU KEEP ON CALLING IT SE-A CUSTOMIZER, I ALREADY ASKED THE SAME LAST RELEASE??? People look on the screenshot and you will see, that it is called now just 2.71 SE Customizer, it doesn't say anything about A now ....for a while already.... QJ.NET, please fix this, you only confuse people here and probably keep from using them a very convenient tool.
I was misled by the name , SE-A is specific i realize now in the pic it is just SE, I'm not using it because it looks a little, idk, FlashX is my fav, if the same developer makes it for 2.71, then I will use his.

The homebrew scene is on 2.71 and below, get used to it. Guess it sucks to be a 2.8 user. Why'd you update in the first place? (Mercy only if you bought the PSP with 2.8 on it).

i like programs like this because i like to customize my PSP.... i am currently at 1.50 but since this came out i just might upgrade to 2.71SE-B..... Thanks alot man,
how can i activate the screenshot function and will i be abl to take screenshots everywhere and everytimes? ???????????????? THX
i dont think u can acti vate it, its just for wen uir in the customize menu, idk y u wuld need it there but its a start
it would. it's the same as any flasher for 1.5 except its for 2.71 se-* note the asterisk as a wildcard
With the last version I could only change my gameboot once, after the second change it gave me a white gameboot with sony psp logo, witch i couldnt get rid of since...... is this fixed now? has anybody had the same problem?

You suckers that upgraded to 2.80 - 2.82 are suckers that don't deserve to even have a PSP. To unlock the full potential of the PSP, 2.71 SE-B'' is the key. 2.80 will always be remembered as the firmware that destroyed homebrew... At least for the suckers that upgraded! XD 2.80-ers, Burn in hell.
