Here's something for retro gamers. Homebrew developer davex has released a new app that adds cheat support to NJ's MVSPSP, the NeoGeo emulator for the PSP. Here are the release notes from davex:
Strictly speaking, since NJ added support to the Universal BIOS (UNIBIOS), MVSPSP has been with cheat support. But UNIBIOS support requires raster effects enabled, which may cause graphical errors and performance issues in some cases.
This Unofficial Work in progress MVSPSP version adds cheat support without requiring UNIBIOS. Also adds support to UNIBIOS version 2.3 if you prefer.
The UNIBIOS 2.3 used must be downloaded from The Universe BIOS Official Homepage (google it), because other UNIBIOS modified won't be recognized.

I love this emulator! Thanks for the unofficial update.
NJ's EMUs still reprensent the top eschelon of brew on the PSP. It's just a shame he hasn't extended it beyond the few platforms he's covered though. Neo Geo, CPS1/2 are absolutely amazing on the PSP - but any other old school retro MAME lovin' just doesn't seem to happen.
The last MAME4All is *very* fiddly and unstable, it would be great to see a real update for it on the PSP.
