Ultra Recovery for the PSP - easy downgrader to FW 1.50 |
Ó
Developers Astaroth and Marce82 has just released Ultra Recovery for the PSP, a homebrew that allows users to do a variety of tasks including downgrading their firmware to 1.50. Unlike some of the applications of this sort, it comes packaged with an easy to use Graphical User Interface making it easier for less tech-savvy PSP owners to use.
While the interface is intuitive we found out in our PSP forums that, because of space issues, some more experienced users prefer to use the classic mode of the program which does away with the GUI. Installing the program is pretty straightforward and shouldn't be a problem for most people. Here's a complete list of what Ultra Recovery can do as taken from the documentation of the program:
- Totally graphical Structure
- Access USB to memory stick, flash0, flash1, flash2 and flash3
- Possibility of taking 5 applications in flash1
- Possibility of taking to 5 xmb themes complete in memory stick
- Stick of flash0, flash1, flash2 and flash3 Allows to create a Backup in memory
- Option of format flash1 and creating the necessary folders of the applications flash
- Option of return to firmware 1.50
- Creative of Eboot recovery in memory stick
- Access to the classic Recovery

i really dont know what i gotta do but i want me my iRShell Back!!! T_T i just wanna downgrade from 3.71 M33 to an older release with 1.50 kernel.. help meh out here ppllzz also FIRST POST B|TCHES
your saying that wont work for 3.71 M33?
if you're on a fat, you can use the original pandora any time you want to get back to partial 1.5, then go to 3.52 m33-> 3.52 m33 rev3 -> 3.52 m33 rev4.
doesnt pandora permanently effect ur battery and ms?
no, you can put the battery normal again
hey everybody, i was just wondering if someone can help me out on a question i have. I am know running on 3.71 and have never had custom firmware i tried pandora's battery i did it all write although i think it didnt work because i had firmware 3.71 and not custom firmware. With this new "ultra recovery" will i be able to downgrade to 1.5 succesfully. And if so once i get to 1.5 whats the best firmware to upgrade to if i want to play psp (iso) games you know ps1 emulater and stuff. Could anyone help me out plzz!!
I have been reading everywhere and can not manage to find a custom firmware i can upgrade or downgrade to from my firmware 3.71, all of these new recovery processes and new releases always say that i need custom firmware but i have 3.71 can anyone help?
hey soz for another question When the readme sais: single must extract the content of the MsRoot folder in the Root of memory stick pair, once copied executes the new application that will appear in games and ready. ----- dose this mean open up the folder given that being ( MsRoot) and then copy the folder inside and paste it in the psp drive? which contains (folder PSP and everything else)?
you go to the msroot folder and enter it then just extract the psp folder it will say you have that file already exists and just overwrite it.
And you can put the ms back to normal again. The ms was technically normal all the way through, but it had the pandora files on it.
