Tipster Unzip/Unrar Utility Source Code Released |
Ó
AnonymousTipster, the homebrew developer that brought us the original Unzip/Unrar utility commonly-used as a plugin for Ahman's iR shell, has released the source code for his wonderful application. His project allows homebrew gamers to download files onto their PSP using either the PSP's integrated Web browser on firmware 2.0+ or using the homebrew Links2 browser and unzip them ready for use on a PSP without the need for a PC! Here's what AnonymousTipster said:"I meant to do this earlier, but nonetheless, here is the source code to my .zip and .rar extraction application I released a few months ago." This application is an asset to the homebrew community and now you can see just how he made this useful application which makes homebrew gaming on the go that little bit easier. Feel free to try and figure out a way to make it better if you can!

First post, but that doesn't matter. Cool app. Will put it on my 2.71.
im confuzzled, wheres the read me
sure sure... go ahead and do everything for 2.71. Us 2.80 will just wait patiently for the next basic little homebrew tiff exploit minigame to keep our sorry little downgrader-undeserving-asses-cos-we-upgraded happy.
i mean seriously, just let em do their own thing, i'm sure they're working hard besides this is about using rar on ur psp, not about us 2.80ers. Awesome apps, hope there's an eloader i really want this..will go great with file assistant (which actually works on my 2.80 psp)
5lol. cool i guess but computer is way faster.
The only way that you are a 2.80 er is because you UPGRADED! So it's your own *****ing fault!
i was thinkin...y doesent some1 come out with this for...2.8? how hard can it b this isnt a really complicated app right? p.s. im a noob so i dont rlly know what porting this to tiff would intail so this is just a sugestion
if your a n00b, why don't you shut yer face and save yourself from looking like an idiot. If it's so damn easy why don't you code it smarta$$ ?
dfoha;dfgn, look he was just making a suggestion even though i know how hard it is to even run any kind of homebrew on 2.8. You dont have go ballistic just for him saying that....
maybe sum1 will port it to 2.80. that would be cool. (i dont have 2.8) i like the app but it should have a file browser so you dont need to type the name in. thats really annoying.
