Homebrew developer Art dropped by our forums to announce that he has just updated Time Baby to version 8c. In case you missed our previous coverage of the program, it is a talking graphic clock and a heart rate monitor. The application is also capable of providing information on sunrise and sunsets as well as moon phases.

The developer implemented a few code fixes and a better color changer inspired by the Amiga Workbench OS in Time Baby v8c. He also mentioned that this version isn't as choppy as previous releases.

Here's the complete change log as taken from the program's documentation:

V8c (02/01/08):
  • Improved Colour Changer screen allows smoother control, and greater range of colours.
  • Code fix to keep solar monitor working in world time clock mode.
  • Various code fixes.
Those who plan on downloading Time Baby v8c should read the documentation included with the compressed file to avoid any problems. That said, you might want to check out the video of Art testing the application's solar monitor.

# Slim support = NULLpwandz 2008-01-03 04:19
It seems this still doesn't support the Slim firmware :(

Also, it could do with some prettier fonts, from the screenshots I've seen - the Sony system fonts maybe? Someone made the libraries available to access those recently :)
