Time Baby Alarm Helper Plugin v1 - Image 1

Homebrew developer Mr305 dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released a new plugin to be used with the application Time Baby. The program was originally coded by Art and is currently on version 10d.

Anyway, the plugin itself transforms your PlayStation Portable into a mechanical-sounding alarm clock. Some of you may reason that the plugin is no longer necessary but here is Mr305's explanation on why it is highly useful:
  1. There's isn't any specific autoboot app released specifically for alarm plus AutoBoot is broken since few lasts CFW's, also it slows down boot time of the PSP.
  2. Starting from CFW 3.71 M33, 1.5 IPL is no longer used which causes the incompatibility when the PSP Resumes from sleep mode and shuts off. Also using Sleep mode alarm wastes battery.
Take note that that the minimum requirement to run Time Baby Alarm Helper Plugin v1 is custom firmware 3.80 M33. To make sure that users will be able to enjoy this simple plugin, Mr305 added an extensive documentation in the download package.

It contains information on installation and usage so we don't expect you to run into any problems. Also, Mr305 is encouraging users to provide helpful criticisms to further improve the program.

Awww...

News writers missed the MAIN GIST. Stand By Alarm = Alarm where PSP wakes from Power off Mode at the alarm time - Credits to Time Baby for such a feature. My plugin KICKS in at point when PSP powers on, it checks to make sure the alarm time = System time; Then plays alarm. This is #NOT# some "KEEP your PSP ON all time for alarm to play" type of plugin. I guess I didnot make my post in the thread clear enough.

Oh I Forgot,

Oh, I forgot, Is it possible to replace every single "Standby" word in the news with "Power Off Mode"? Thanks
