When Tactless Penguin said, "Best. Homebrew. Ever. If this doesn't make frontpage, I quit QJ," on the PSP Development Forums, we knew we had to do something. Youresam released a rather large file for people to try out for the simple purpose of checking to see if your PSP's buttons work. Suffice it to say that everyone seems to like it, so we're putting it up on the front page for people to try out.
Now, this is a 6MB button testing application for your PSP called Button Tester with LEET Graphics. The main thing that sets this apart is how well detailed the creation of this app is relative to its utility. There's a fully 3D jeep and music that happens to be in the background while you're testing the keys.
Strangely enough, that's it. It's hard to brick your PSP with something like this, but we'll tell you now that this may show up as LuaPlayer on your PSPs. That's the app itself, which we're assuming is bundled with Lua Player v0.20. In any case, give it a try. You might find yourself calling it the LEET-est homebrew ever.

so u gotta load an app to check if a button works.......yeah rite.....nice work on the jeep but come on.....u must be desperate puttin this up on front page??!!
QJs been having a bad week. Saying news about the PSP2 and crap like that so they're desperate for anything I suppose...
On the ironic side, Tactless suits TacticalPenguin pretty well.
what's the use and fun about this, i mean a 3d jeep whoho.... i've always wanted that a button tester with 3d jeep!!! please pinguin( or whatever) GET A LIFE!!!
What a let down. I was expecting that you could drive the jeep by testing the buttons but this is just sad...

The jeep is cool, but with the time spent on it, it would be better off used in an actual game rather than a button tester..
Very handy app for some one like me, thats always meddling with the internal controles of psp's. Thanks man :)

Guys if you read the forums this was an obvious joke release for the PxP homebrew competition. Thats why its so cheesy. I think its halarious.
From the picture I was expecting something like throttlex, which btw I never could get to work. This jeep button tester crap just looks ridiculous. Weak.
Just awsome - forget the other comments Never knew that my O button is not working - the pixelshader on the gras and the environmentmapping on the jeep just blew me away!!! AWSOME, PHANTASTIC, HILARIOUS lol

Yeah I think its actually needed isn't it? Doesn't every LUA App have to have a 3D jeep? Well i'm yet to see one that doesn't have one!!
