The Windows Xp 64-bit Edition logo - Image 1PlayStation Portable (PSP) homebrew coder Vulpix has just announced a tester of the tgaWave Creative Studio application for Microsoft Windows XP 64-bit Edition (x64 Windows). Going into details, this will test the to see if the applications that tgaWave depends on to run will run properly in an x64 environment.

As a backgrounder, tgaWave is a PC-based homebrew application built to help PSP owners customize their XMB waves, and has gone through several updates, including a name change from "Custom Wave Texture Injector" to "Creative Studio" to reflect its growing versatility. Windows XP 64-bit, on the other hand is a Windows XP variant "designed to run on Intel Itanium family of microprocessors in their native IA-64 mode."

The application author requests the help of fellow veteran community members (with the x64 OS) to help test this app to full x64 compatibility. Screenshots are welcome, while first-time downloaders are advised to let the experienced coders test this out first.

Make sure to view the README to see what else is needed, and also be sure to visit the QJ.NET Forums to join the ongoing discussions for this application. To the guys who'd like to lend a hand, we wish them luck.

Woah, this is not even close to being a working version! It only TESTS if the applications that tgaWave depends on work in 64 bit Windows, it doesn't actually do anything useful as far as making a wave yet.

So please revise or delete the article to avoid making me look bad!

there's strictly no interest in a 64bits version, 32bits version runs well on XP (and vista) 64 ...

I don't see why this app would need to access more than 2GB RAM

Whats up with you and the words? "Playstation Portabe (PSP)" yes, we know what PSP means, otherwise we wouldnt even be here. its always in your article. no offense though but i kinda get annoyed when its repeated in every article that you write.

im still confused on what exactly the purpose of this is.

p.s. i think that homebrew should be called HB or something because everytime i hear the word homebrew, old and crappy comes to mind but in reality its better. (still cant get my mind off of No Gravity)
