Anyway, the process is still the same. You will need an image editing program such as Photoshop and the wave's texture can be edited by applying filters to your image. Also, here's a new step by step instruction on using tgaWave Custom Wave Texture Injector v0.5:
- Open system_plugin_bg_deflate_part2.tga in your favorite image editing program (Photoshop/GIMP/etc). Set the image mode to RGB color to edit.
- Change the wave texture as desired by using filters in Photoshop or whatever. After you are done editing, you must set the image back to Indexed with the Local (selective) palette, and 252 colors.
- Save the targa file with the same name as you opened it with.
- Open the system_plugin_bg_deflate_part2.tga in a hex editor.
- Delete the last 24 bytes.
- Save the file, it should be 17172 bytes.
- Run start.bat.
- Put system_plugin_bg.rco that was created in /vsh/resource/
- Done!

How do I get my PSP to look like the one in the photo? I've followed the instructions and now have a flaming wave but it doesn't look like the one in the Pic which is cooler. Also what Month is the background? The closest I can find Is January but that is still too bright.
