This is the great thing about PSP homebrew scene today. Every dev just wanna help the community in any way they can. That's why two devs released two different apps that does the same thing - make POPSTATION more friendly to the uninitiated. These two apps are both PopStation GUIs - one was done by danny_kay1710, the other by Quake.
Let's start with danny_kay's version. Basically, it just provides a nice GUI for Dark_AleX's popstation.exe. As always, the dev provided an in-depth read me that comes with the download so you better catch up on your reading.
On the other hand, Quake's take on the PopStation GUI gig is recommended to be used inside the popstation folder on your desktop. You will still need all files to be in the same folder as the popstation. At the end of the day, both apps give you the same result. It all boils down to which of the two you are more comfortable using. Download links are down there, read up, enjoy, and much thanks to the devs!

I have been waiting for this all day.
I like them both, but I think I like danny_kay1710's GUI best.
Hopefully dark_alex can somehow get either the PSX games working in the Devhooked 3.02 firmware, or perhaps even get 3.02 OE-B working with TA-082's.
Until then though, I will be unable to play them. But for now, I have all the files that are necessary to convert PSX games, and I am waiting with my fingers crossed.

what folder do i put the eboot in the iso folder ???
put keys.bin, DOCUMENT.DAT and EBOOT.PBP in a folder in your game folder

If you are talking about the ISO's, you can just merge them.
when i try to convert ctr it just opens the black command screen prompt for a split second thenit closes. bad iso?

When I try to convert my ISO through danny's gui the command prompt flashes on screen for only the slightest moment then it disappears. Anybody know what the problem is?

I tried them both, but I always end up getting 0kb eboots.
Save at the end of DISC 1, you can put ISO2 on there and load up the Save file to continue on with the game.
For change the background image, for psx game,Can I use PSP Content Manager?.
i've converted it all done everything but when i load the game it just shows the background of my xmb , what happened?!?! i so wanna play my ff7 X_X

oh thank you so much danny_kay1710. i was having a bit of trouble with the original popstation. i had everything in the right place and all that but for some reason it still didnt work. i prolly overlooked something. but this makes it alot easier. thanks alot!

so if u whant to play this get a PSP 1.5 and run 3.02OE-A AND THEN Update to 3.02OE-B
And dont worry u can go back to 1.5 if u dont like 3.02OE-B.( LoL 3.02OE-B works the same as 1.5 why go back to older. feel foolish to say it heh!)
1 . Get POPSTATION GUI by danny_kay1710 Beuse it takes IMG & ISO & BIN files.
Remember to place cygwin1.dll to c:\windows\syst em32\ ( its in the folders of POPSTATION GUI)

2 . Get PSP - Hot Shots Golf 2
3 . TAke the EBOOT.PBP & KEY.BIN & DOCUMENT.DAT Files from the PSP - Hot Shots Golf 2 and place
them at the PSX GAmedirectory u whant to work on your PSP
4 . RENAME EBOOT.PBP to BASE.PBP
5 . NOW RUN POPSTATION GUI
Go to the PSX directory of the psx game u whant to convert(ISO or BIN or IMG file) after that push convert . it will take some time just wait.. when it says done go to next step.
6 . go now to the PSX directory where u have the game. u will now se
the psx game .iso or .Bin or .IMG

EBOOT.PBP
7 . TAKE
KEYS.BIN
DOCUMENT.DAT

Copy THEM to the PSP Memeorystick ( x )

does anyone know the resolution sizes for ICON0/PIC0/PIC1 ?
ICON0 : 144x80 PNG
PIC0 : 144x80 PNG (make it fully transparent or else it'll look ugly)
PIC1 : 480x272 / 300x170 PNG (sometimes the file is too big so I personally use 300x170)
I have downloaded hot shots 2 and renamed it to base.pbp but when i run popstation gui (dannykay) it says base.pbp cannot be found! Its placed in the folder where popstation is but it just says it cannot find it. I`d be very grateful if any of you guys could help.

I used Dannyk,s GUI and successfully created the EBOOT... but it wont work, i can excess the small option menu, screen size etc... but nothing loads, just a black screen... but it doesnt crash either.
Am from the land of PAL, ripped ISO with MAGIC ISO.
Just wondering is it because of the PAL region that this wont work? In the readme it mentions graphic glitches etc... but am just getting nothing.
Sony themselves have had an issue regarding pal psx emulation, if you want working stuff use NTSC versions... I'm English and have been playing ff7 US version all day :)

i think the problem with popstationgui not completing the compilation is that maybe the icon0.png, pic1.png, etc. may be too large. i think they must smaller than a specified size, i'm just not sure what that size is
You need to run you Command Prompt, I did it like this: copy your files; BASE.PBP(Eboot renamed from hotshots 2), KEYS.BIN, POPSTATION EXE and your iso. I copied all of this to c: Then just go to start>run and type in cmd. After that just trype in C: popstation YOURISOHERE.ISO
After that it will make your Eboot
PS. It also works with files .IMG

I made a Megaman Legends 2 eboot, and eveything works, its just when I start a new game, I think the flames crash the game, fmvs work, menu, tutorial, everything. How can I put a psone save on my PSP? and will it read it?
Im fine with using CMD for now, its not that hard and its really quick if you rename the popstation stuff to something shorter and easier to type. I put the popstation folder in the directory that CMD always starts in, renamed the folder to "psp" and renamed popstation.exe to "run.exe." It doesnt take long to type "cd psp" then "run ff7.iso"
So what do you do when you're playing a game that's not ff7 that doesn't let you do that?

in the CMD in the first place?
This is just taking more time.
If a game doesn't let you do that, it wouldn't even work on the PS1.
Stop thinking with your ass.
Or you could just make a bat file which has "popstation.exe file.iso" written in it, and you wouldn't have to move around stuff.

Hey, does any one know any place to get the icons and pic files to replace the Hot Shots ones? I'm not an artist so really can make my own. I said the vidoes of FF7, which is the one I am playing, and would like those pictures or others. Just something that is more fitting for that game, or others as well. I am sure I will convert some others later... Thanks in advance...

rename the file to "base" base.pbp includes .pbp along with the inplied .pbp on the file. So your way you end up with (to the system) base.pbp.pbp
