While their identities are pretty elusive, you have to admit, the Japanese developers behind Snes9xTYLsmcm are doing good work. The team recently released a new version of their homebrew application, labelled Test 5 27/5/08.This application, in case you're asking, is an SNES emulator for the Sony PlayStation Portable. Based on the information we've gathered, this new test build carries wireless ad-hoc support and improved overall performance. Some of the users over at DCEmu noted that games like Mario Kart run well on frameskip 1, while a bug in Final Fantasy 2 was also fixed.
That said, we remind the readers that this new release is labeled as a test build, meaning that you'll want to keep on the lookout for any possible bugs. Enjoy the download, and be sure to visit us again in case we receive word regarding any possible updates.

Did they fix this bug or is it still there? I don't care that you can change it within the emulation to get home to work. I want to know if the overall bug is fixed.

Sleep mode is in almost every single PSP emulator except for some of the GOOD SNES emulators.
When will sleep mode be in? NO THATS NOT A WASTE OF PROGRAMING, I FIND IT USEFUL!
Many people find it useful, plus you really just have to push the frameskip up a little for this to work.
I know speed is everything to you guys.
Sleep mode has its usefulness, even you guys have to admit that.

Don't forget to CHANGE THE CPU from the default 300Mhz to 333Mhz. It helps a bit. I also recommend changing the Sound from 44KHz to 22KHz.
Differences from 4.2TYL I've noticed:
The menu is much faster which takes a bit of getting used to. I like using the Home button to go to the menu. Overall an improvement.
Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage NOW WORKS without the annoying video glitches when he jumps.
Super Mario Kart is a bit faster.
The great Claymates game unfortunately still DOES NOT WORK :( Maybe next time...
Can anyone understand the readme.txt? Do they hope to achieve full speed on upcoming releases? Playing an FX chip game at full speed, 44.1Khz sound, 0 frameskip would be great :)
