SMOOVE - Pixel, Tile and Sprite Editor |
Ó
Martin Wisniowski (also known as020200) has released version 0.91 of his SMOOVE Pixel, Tile, and Sprite editor. SMOOVE is a homebrew application coded in Lua that allows you to open and save PNG files, create tiles, sprites, pixelartworks, and create graphics instantly ready to use as sprite and tile maps in any gameproject. It has a pixel editor, an animation editor, as well as tools such as 'zoomedit' and also allows you to change the framesize.
This homebrew application requires Lua player, and this version should work on Lua Player v0.16 and higher, but has only been tested on v0.16. Feel free to try it out using Lua Player v0.19, and post a comment if it works!

Wicked, ill have this :D
Nice work on the picture... editor... no news on the new UMDGen? Damn this site is soft.
Would I be able to change the sprits for Mario on NES?
You can change any games sprites on this little lua app...just put the original sprite sheet.png inside the apps folder and open it once inside the app. One more thing, make sure your png image isn't bigger than the PSP's screen resolution, wich is 480x272. It's a great little application but it's still not worthy of maipulating sprites bigger than 58x32 pixels, but with little lua script knowledge you can change all that...I did, but please don't ask me for the file...I wouldn't want to take credit for the authors nice work. - Apoklepz
