SephZero from Team Shadow is best known in the community as the person responsible for crafting one of the most engaging MP3 player for the PSP both in function and aesthetics - the SimpleAmp. This has been tested with audio files at 128, 160, 192, 256 and 320 bitrate.

And get a load of this, SephZero just revealed to us that he tried playing a song about 70MB checked as corrupted data in the Sony dashboard, but played effortlessly in SimpleAmp. Even an audio file as big as 222MB played smoothly in this application.

Can You Wait?

A lot of people would probably remember the player most of all because of it's wonderfully crafted user interface. SephZero, has created another delightful interface for the SimpleAmp. Your curiosity on the new GUI will only be heightened by these interface screens that was posted in the website. The tagline says, "Like a phoenix rebirth from his own ashes" which proves to be true for the SimpleAmp.

all u guys need is:

a visualization just like windows media player

an equalizer

a volume booost(*for hardcore technos

a good intro boot

full screen visualization

and a power saving mode

if u need an idea of what im talking bout get djsp! he already did that hrere meee out ppl we neeed simple amp a booooost in updateeeeeeee!

...would allow the image attached in the mp3 file be displayed on the screen while the song is playing. I'm talking about how with the xmb, it displays whatever image is attached to the mp3 file in that little thumbnail sized window.

It wouldn't be very functional.. but it would just make it look cool and give it a personal custom kinda look. That's the only thing I like about the stock xmb music player (and I always play my songs through it because of that :p).

So I hope you Simple Amp developers read this! You're my only hope for the ultimate psp homebrew music player!!

when will the non-beta of this app come out... i have seen this on front page a few times and only once did they put out a beta(it has been on front page like 2 times before this over a period of months)

the interface looks sweet as hell and theyve been hyping this thign up for MONTHS now! We'll just see if this can surpass the ultimate DJSP! It better be good with how long theyve been making us wait! I hope there are some good visuals liek DJSP has

Dude it's awesome that somebody is doing audio homebrews but, ...I'm not complaining but for the last couple of months I've been waiting for an equilizer in all of your SimpleAmps. I love your project but you would be the #1 audio homebrew maker if you added an equilizer, being able to turn up the bass , lows and highs...genious

I'm #13 and I believe I mispelled equalizer multiple times. After looking over #7's post I now see I needed to correct myself.
