Sony PSP - Image 1Here's another screenshot plugin for your PSP. It's from a Japanese developer, and from what we can gather, the "speed of the screenshot" was improved.

Here's what Google translate has to say about the brew:

Depending on the thing where picture retention type after the capturing is not and “bmp” of non compression becomes “png” compressed type, Picture capacity decreases from bmp type, it means that compression conversion processing is necessary but retention speed improves. Because it is png type, either picture quality does not change.

When capturing there is also plug in where the picture stops, but This plug in has become “not suspend (not discontinuing,)”, to lose down time, because it is photographed in real time, it is possible to take without stress. Because (that much load falls on CPU, perhaps there is also a possibility of freezing. )

Furthermore, as for the picture which is captured “capture” folder in “photo” folder (ms0: /photo/capture) Inside It is retained with name of the type, “years day and time moment .png”. Because is, there are no times when name becomes simultaneous. Whether and those which when by his photographed glance? Don't you think? so you understand.

Good luck and enjoy? Don't forget the Readme - with the translator, course.

WOW

This plugin is amazing, it's much quicker than any of the other screenshot plugins (even the BMP ones). It's too bad that the source hasn't been released, I'm sure a lot of PSP devs would love to integrate it into other homebrew.

hmm

So it's much faster? I'm accustomed to like 5 seconds or so to snap the picture. I'll definitely be checking this out when I get home.

Hmmm

After some more experimenting this plugin isn't perfect. On games that have lots of different colors it has a hard time keeping up if I want to take lots of pics (takes a while for the CPU to compress all that data), and the pics start getting messed up. It's fine for games that don't have a lot of colors, or for the VSH. I think I'm going to go back to using CWcheat's screenshot option for now.
