If you've been using your PSP for as long as I have, odds are you're going to have a ton of different savegame files on that memory card of yours. From years and years of content, sometimes it can be a bit hard to manage all of the files you got, and that's where Savegame Saver comes in. Sure I know most of you will be shouting "why not just use a computer for this," but in some cases it makes sense for this handy little piece of software to take care of all of that action right on the system that created it.

While this little app certainly isn't going to give you the prettiest looking interface in the world, the way the program looks is in no way a reflection of its apparent functionality. Essentially what this app does is manage all of your savegame files along with creating backups so that you are never lost when it comes to accidentally deleting the wrong file. In a sense, that simple text based interface then works to keep things simple and separate from all the frills involved with the XMB. Sometimes you just want to be able to see what you have and archive it. Savegame Saver will give you that luxury.

Alongside being able to just backup some of your save states, this program also actively restores them as well all within the program. That way, if you accidentally overwrite your Kingdom Hearts save, you can get right back to the old one without much trouble. While using a computer is a good way to store your saves, this little program takes things just one step further by making sure the most recent state is always constantly backed up on your system. Not to mention with the way hard drives can fail you, having all the action done on a memory stick in the console can save you some hassle too. Savegame Saver then is a worthwhile app for gamers playing a lot of PSP titles at once.
